Did Daed take a photo of the actual artefact?

He showed it during a livestream, somebody might have took a screenshot.

We're gathering archives of all livestreams and photos taken, so yeah they'll be one.

    Monkeypaws are bad bad bad.
Don't let anyone have it, don't use it, lock it up, board it up, drop it in a deepsea trench.

We aren't even sure if our own agency is secure. We can't just hand over something like this to someone with unknown allegiances.

Soo... if I understand correctly what went down, Vanessa (or whoever "her friend" was) now has the artefact, but doesn't have the ritual to preserve its power. At this point, the artefact should be powerless.

Daed powered the artifact before giving it to Vanessa. IDK how long the charge will last though.

There was also no proof that Vanessa does not already know what to do with the artifact, she seemed to know what it does when she wanted it, I assume she would know what to do to keep it in working order.

Assuming she was under her own free will when she asked for it, which we have no evidence of yet.
