Oh hey, I forgot to post in here when I bought TBW! Hey there! I'm Agent Kakuzen. I played a little bit in the Alpha and Beta tests of the game, and I tend to dabble a bit with ciphers, codes, etc. I plan to be more of a Cybertech in the future, being more the eyes behind the scenes. Nice to meet all of you, and I hope to work together with each and every one of you, making this one of the best ARGs out there!
Hello all, I'm Spyre9, or simply Spyre. UK based and new to the entire thing and stumbled across this last night; managed to get an hour in before bed and really enjoyed the missions so far. The intrigue caught me and loving the 'outside the box' feel and having to do the research. Definitely enjoy a game that requires thinking. Have some familiarity with various aspects of the subject matter and with the answer to the disappearing antique dealer I had to laugh having met the head of that particular organisation. Looking forward to meeting/working with you all.
I never posted in here but I've been activeish in the IRC. I'm MidDipper, aka Ren, aka Amelia if you want to be 'that guy'. Used to be that weird kid who sat in the back of the classroom doodling sigils that I saw in various books/on various websites, now I'm (aggressively) pursuing a degree in biology with a concentration in infectious diseases. Don't ask me about my studies over dinner, for your own sake.
So.. if 'that guy' is LIKE the best Agent... Who's the best Agent and why is 'that guy' such a copy cat?
Just starting out here. Going by Deadwood, because reasons. I'm prior military and a current private security contractor for the DoD (Worst. Contract. Ever.) I'm currently preparing myself for going back to school. Thinking of taking psychology, also because reasons. I'm a bit of a work junkie, but I'm really, really, really trying to overcome that habit. I'm from Amish country Pennsylvania originally, but work took me to the midwest and I kinda just stuck around. Hoping to find a new addiction here. Thanks all!
Well, I am excited to say that this IS one of the worst addictions I have ever had (better TBW than crack though right?), and it is one heck of a ride. Welcome to the party, and I hope to see you in-game/in IRC!
Welp, I've introduced myself here before but I left for a while, so time for re-intros! Mustafa Said, at your service. I'm just a college student. I still am. But a couple of years ago something weird happened to me. I wish I could say it was just a hoax but it's real. It did happen and I'll swear on my life(or on whatever it takes for you to believe me)that it did. You see, back in the day, my family only owned one computer. We used it for schoolwork and for play. My siblings would spend much more time on it playing games than I would-I was more wrapped up in novels, stories, the written word.(I still am-I love me a good book even though I am more interested in technology and transmedia storytelling these days.) So, they would stay up until the late night and I would arise at the crack of dawn, around 7-8 am to play some games, look for new books to read, etc. One day, that I remember distinctly, was different. It was the second Saturday of June, in 2012. It was a pleasant morning. I woke up and went on the computer screen and on it was a link to a site. Though at the time, I had never heard of the Watchmen or what you all did. I, being a curious sort, clicked it. Took me to the origins of the Gate 33. I had absolutely no idea nor experience at this so I did what I could but stayed on the edge of things, as hidden as I possibly could. As time moved on and I entered college, I spent my time researching The Black Watchmen and coming to terms with what I could do in this....organization. My siblings told me they didn't put the link there. My father, the only other person who would use the computer that late, wasn't around at the time-gone on business. My mother would sleep early-she works herself to the bone every day. So, somehow, the link to the Watchmen just was..on my computer. You might be thinking that it was one of my siblings but their interests didn't border on this. This was way beyond what they liked at the time-but not above what I liked. I'm here not just to help the Watchmen but to discover why I was even able to be a part of it. I am here to find answers. I'll probably end up finding more questions than answers however. I'm still learning what skills I can bring to the table-I'm no good at puzzles. I prefer dealing with and analyzing information-sort of like an Investigator. Not the smartest guy around but every once in a while I'll be looking at all the threads and bam! I'll see something I didn't see before. So, that's my story. It's goofy when you think about it-college student at day, Black Watchmen Operative at night-or whenever I'm called to do whatever it is I can.
Hello from the front door, I'm the watcher, the keeper of keys and a friendly face in a crowd of strangers. I'm the Doorman, fresh agent, ready to jump into a world no one knows exists!
Greetings Everyone! I'm Agent Warziders. I joined the agency about 4 days ago. I'm fresh out of boot camp (finished season 1) and am now working alongside another recruit to uncover some vital information. On another note, I'm glad to be here and look forward to cracking some more codes and possibly working up to Yellow Status atleast.
Hello Agent Grimm here I'm real new here and new to ARGs in general so i'm just trying to figure out what's what
Agent Karrie here. Still just a Jobber who's just finished basic, but it's an honour to be onboard. Looking forward to working with you all!
Hello everyone, I'm Agent insomn14. I just got started in the game yesterday and kind of played through all the season one missions before I'd realized it. I'm very interested to see what comes down the pipeline.
Agent Strix chiming in! And while I may be new in the field mysteries like these have always been interesting to me. I am currently running through old reports, I hope I can be of use when something starts happening again. Looking forward to working with all of you!
