Unable To Open Tbw Due To It Not Fully Closing

After I quit out of the game a few days ago it kept saying I was still playing TBW. So I decided to restart the steam client because usually that fixes it. Unfortunately it didn't though. I've tried multiple times now and it hasn't worked. Any way to fix this?

 

did you try to close the client with your task manager? (ctrl+alt+del)
and if that fails you could restart your computer/laptop. those might do the trick

 

Please open up the Task Manager and find tbw.exe
Press delete (if you found it) to kill the process w/o questions
If not, reboot the machine.
If not then, reboot router.
If that does not help, please PM dev and they will sort it out.
