Heyho folks, Just in case you find yourselves in a rut these days; cogitation gradually grinding to a halt - all that jazz, might I recommend giving The Talos Principle a go? It's a very Antichamber/Kairo esque game, in the "First Person Puzzle Solving" sense, but, perhaps moreso than the aforementioned games, it also has a more fleshed out narrative - which isn't to say it's one that's thrown in your face, or even made abundantly clear. On top of that, it also has some elements of an ARG in it. Not to the level we're "used to", but there are a few. The puzzles themselves are good enough - more reminiscient of Portal than the two games mentioned earlier - but they are entertaining, and I can imagine they can cause some headaches. (I've been stuck for a good 10 minutes on at least one puzzle so far, for example, in the 1st area) Depending on how deep you delve into the game, and of course how quickly you solve the puzzles, I'd say there's maybe, 10 - 15 hours of gameplay with the base game? Bit conservative estimate, sunk 4 hours into it myself, and I'm only just finishing up the first area, not including secrets and so on. Either way, very interesting game which I can in good conscience recommend - I'll leave it at that or risk spoiling something. (Sorry for the borderline advertisement, but given the subject, I wagered it was an acceptable one - and I might have other hidden agendas in getting others to play it)
Wow that looks pretty awesome. It's a shame I don't have any money to buy it now due to buying a brand new PC and whole set-up. Definately going on my wish list though.
