Oh, I should probably put my name down here. Can you guess what it is??? Spoiler its nikel Rarely have the energy to come online though :/
I'm somewhat confused - when did these undercover missions begin? From what I know, these "organisations" you speak of are, at best, mere myths - entertaining flights of fancy at worst. While I do agree that paranoiac delusions have their usefulness, I can't help but wonder whether or not paranoia is worth entertaining in the face of myths such as these. All that being said, however, I did have a rather vivid dream a few nights back pertaining to one of these organisations; soaked in blood in the streets of what I assume was an urban Korean area - although all was, as I was, silent. Echoes in stone are yet naught but echoes nonetheless - but for the sake of entertaining my growing paranoia, I believe I was named the same in my dream, as I am here.
Hmm, I certainly know of those events, but only the Dragon feels familiar to me - perhaps those dreams are becoming too vivid. ((OOC: Oh aye, I know. Participated in both events back then. Was primarily getting at the fact that according to what we know about the TBW timeline we now find ourselves in, the previous events - as well as the connection with the secret factions of TSW - never physically happened. As a result, memories are fuzzy and on the decline, and the actual connection with the secret factions is more a question of if, rather than when. What little we do know, is that a lot of the "realities" we thought we knew, that we remember, that we can find hints about being there, actually aren't. It's not so much that the PARG will take place before Gate 33 and EoD, but that those events have been kicked out of place in our "new" timeline - and as a result, may yet happen, simply be restored later on, or fade entirely. Meanwhile, others clearly remember the minute details from these apparently "non-existant" events. As for the secret organisations, the ones we know from TSW are not the ones we (will) know in TBW - that depends on what level of interaction FunCom is interested in. They might very well still be in our TBW reality, but at their most basic - if we meet anyone from them - they'll be shadows of their real-world mythological counterparts, perchance with a dash of TSW on top, dependant on FunCom. All in all, I just wanted to crowbar my TBW and TSW characters from each other, and give the former the chance to develop outside of the events from TSW - as I'm personally hoping the two timelines diverge even more, and become less related, so G2H and HE can play even more with their lore, without having to battle against the established TSW lore. Oh, and on a final note - do keep in mind these sections are RP-only. ^^))
Dreams are a powerful thing. I feel that there could be a meaning, a deeper truth behind these dreams.
You can call me either by my real name "Mustafa".... I've gone by MuMu in the past so I guess that works.
Alexander Kane at your service. In London, whether I'm throwing a few back at The Horned God or acting as an operative for Richard Sonnac, I am simply known as Artos. Remember the name and look me up if you feel so inclined. Cheers.
My username is Grim-Angel53 here, In game I'm ExGrim I prefer Grim as a Common name for conversation.
put me down as Kelbris please, I betrayed the illuminati since they do not care about their members unlike the other two factions.
I don't know TCO, I find that we aren't betraying our respective Secret Societies. (Says the guy who hasn't revealed his name amongst the Illuminati). Think of it as an early warning system for your respective group, keeping an eye on things that are less overt, and more covert. That's my take on it. (OOC: Also, longcoat longcoat!)
I remember a Gate. A Gate that I traveled to many times with many people. People I came to regard as friends and comrades. As time went on, and we released the Seals on this Gate, people came and went, being sent on missions or simply disappearing, only to reappear some time later, looking a little more battered everytime. Some went mad as we unlocked the Seals, some just kept soldiering on. I believe we came out the better for our struggle. Though it all seems like a dream. Or a distant memory. I'm not sure what to believe anymore. A few words and a song appear in my head every so often. The Sound of Drums, or the melody of Dies Irae. A shout of "A4!" These things appear in my waking hours. Here's hoping to figuring out these Mysteries. Along with the new ones we will encounter here in our organization.
