Tbw Agency Guidebook

Uh, hi, all.. I didn't want to open the new year with a whine but I've been reading the BW guidebook and our base really doesn't adhere to the guidelines set out by the top brass. I mean, take a look at this:

It's my understanding that "the administration" refers to our superiors within the Agency, and I have noted numerous points within the facility where there is no such sources of nourishment to be found; for example:
    • Armoury - lacks any sources of refreshment, unless you count that one grenade launcher that only shoots coffee beans for some reason
    • Micro C - I know having food and drink in an area regularly infested by pathogens, mutants and other nasties is probably a bad idea, but I don't see why we can't get a Nutripill dispenser. They're practically impervious to the elements and we could pick them up in bulk.
    • Deployment - specifically Helipad 2 - I feel like we could probably drop some excess weight out of the dispatch helicopters and replace them with small vending machines or mini-fridges without sacrificing too much tactical effectiveness. How many spare Sidewinder missiles do we really need to carry on board a chopper?
There are more but I'll spare you the list. I just think we ought to be a little bit more adherent to the rules of the organisation, especially with the yearly inspection coming up (it's stamped in the back of the rulebook). I'll leave my copy on the table in break room 12 if anyone wants to read up on it.

That was.. uh... a mistake. From earlier. But it turns out to be a really effective nonlethal ammo so we kept it going on. Used to fire low yield rounds at sleepy interns for laughs, until the move.

Gregori should have been working with the dispensary to get vending machines in place, I'll check about that.

Bio-hazardous areas are specifically exempted from 57.6B by addendum 46, which isn't in the short-form rulebook most Agents are given. The long-form rulebook can be accessed through any terminal in the base, it's available in PDF form through the intranet. Because the addendum listings are constantly in flux, it makes more sense to keep it stored digitally and send out notices when they change. You may or may not have been able to decode those notice messages, they're a bit difficult. As for the armory and helipad... Sure, why not?

I'm always up for more food around the base! Especially if it's actually good quality food. We need better food options around here, honestly. I see no reason to get some snacks stocked in more places. That being said, I think you'll have to bring that request to upper management. I don't know who is in charge of restocking the food, or who is in charge of deciding how it gets distributed around the base. I would also maybe suggest getting some vending machines or something scattered around the archives, considering how many agents we seem to lose down there.

Wait, we have rules and yearly checks?

    ...that explains a lot.

Nevertheless I'm all down for more food? Can we get a vending machine in the Main Research Hub. I get hungry after spending hours procrast- er, researching!

Of course we have rules... Who even oversaw your orientation, Dylan? Please for the love of all that is good and holy do NOT say Grisha. That being said... I think maybe something like emergency rations stores would be more suitable for the Archives. Agents who get lost down there can STAY lost down there for quite some time.

Ah, here's the problem. There were vending machines but they kind of melted when the entire base was set on fire. Should be getting new ones soon

Does paying for food really count as a source of nourishment within range, though? Are there vending machines we can get that pick up Agency IDs by RFID instead of coinage?

Free food!? Today's getting even better.

The food from them is free, you just have to put in the number to get it.

Yeah, they're less vending machines and more... 'nutrient dispensers'. That being said they don't exactly stock potato chips and pretzels. The intention of that segment of the rules is to ensure that nobody dies of starvation or suffers complications from malnutrition if we have to seal off a portion of HQ for a long period of time. So the food that comes out is sorta... It looks like an opaque sort of jello, and doesn't taste great, but it's got everything you need in it.

Well, that's... I mean, that's compliant with the rulebook, I guess? What's the timeframe on getting more installed though? The inspection stamp in the back of the book says... Er.. I don't know actually, it looks like someone upended an entire bottle of white-out on it and scrawled all over it while it was in the break room. Here, I'll scan it into my terminal for you.

That being said, when translated it is... Not reassuring.

    Uhhhhhhhhhhh

I'm pretty sure Grisha isn't a double. Like, 65% sure. Guy's way into hockey to have any other free time

Maybe this fake-dawn group is also into hockey, and thinks Grisha is some sort of idol?

So, your theory is that there is some sort of wannabe cult group that is worshiping Grisha? Well that's absolutely terrifying and horrible to think about. Who would even be in a group like that?

Probably just Grisha himself at this rate.
