I dont think its a spoiler since sigil makes it obvious what it asks for but
I wasn't able to slove that puzzle without consuming my hints because i was insisting to enter the date in day/month format and couldnt think of trying to pick month first and the day after.
If what I'm trying to say isn't clear enough, lets say the answer is january the 1st, so the sigil won't accept 1 and JAN in this order but if you click on JAN first, and 1 later then it will unlock.

This was the reason why i was stuck on this puzzle but if your problem is something else, you are more than welcome to send a message if you want. I will try to help.

Glad you figured it out. Goed werk, agent

When it comes to this game (and the Black Watchmen) the devs will sometimes throw in a simple, easy solution among a group of really hard ones and your brain just doesn't think that the simple thing could be the answer.

I once spent a day and a half pouring over the internet for information, I called my mom up, asked my friend who I knew read a certain book, and then the answer was literally the first word of the subject's wikipedia page.

Hi everyone! Kinda stuck on two fragments and not sure what I am missing:

Their odious downfall. I figured out the connection between all of the men in the images but my thought process stops there.

The Cabildo created these laws... I know what laws they are talking about and the many different ways it was used, particularly in New Orleans. Nothing I can think of inputting is correct.

Any tips on these two are appreciated!

So you found cause of death of each one was yellow fever, keep reading about it.
Keep reading about yellow fever while keeping that fifth picture of an insect in your mind and see if anything fits the sigil.

I couldn't manage to slove this one easily aswell so the spoiler contains the extra information that the hints gave me. You may not find it as fulfilling, so maybe wait for someone else to help before checking my spoiler, but how i managed to slove it was:
After it gave the name 'Governor Miró' as a hint, I added it to the words i was searching on Google
Like my search was 'public dress code cabildo governor miro' and yeah, the answer was there.

So these can be tough to provide hints for, as it isnt clear (to me at least) how to revisit your old answers. So the information I provide you is a month or so old - however as of this writing I'm not sitting in front of the game. Later, I will revisit and provide better nudgery.

    Their Odious Downfall:
We don't like this bug. Mostly we think extinction is bad, but for this species case we might make an exception.

Hasselquist named this pest traveling in the lands the locals call Masr.

    Cablido
Think of the context here in the Big Easy.
Who lives there? Where do these people come from? Has there been any historical friction between any of these groups? Are there any nearby locations where this boiled over?

When different cultures cohabitate, it isn't always seamless.
One group might subjugate another and enforce certain cultural norms. Who here is being subjugated? You know how they are - but how are they coping? Are they making the best of it? Finding ways to take the norms and rules of the subjugator and make it their own? Are they putting a spin on anything? Names? Art? Fashion? Language?

My odious downfall was over thinking that answer! heh As soon as I took your first suggestion for the Cabildo, instant answer. Thanks again!

After all of these hints, I'm still clueless. Nothing I am coming up with can be entered as the answer. Any help is appreciated!

If it's the one I think you're on...
"Containers for the invisibles' flame, christened for the kingdom from which they came." named after a kingdom in Africa which is still a country today, sorta-this is a kind of object they say can have the power of “heating” or activating the loa. GOOD LUCK and watch out for hot points

Got it! And wow...I did not know the answer was looking for a location, not the name of the container..derp! Thanks!

    Hi everyone,

I just found the solution thanks to hints... but I wonder what
Laurence Shirley (the man in the coffin)
has to do with the answer?

Anyway has I'm not american, I never heard about this
(both the poem and the doll)
and the image of the guy leads me to a complete wrong way...

I think this one should be reworked a little bit for non-american people. What do you think?

    Hi,
I've been trying to figure out the puzzle about the pig and I think I know what the answer should be, but there doesn't seem to be any way to spell it on the sigil. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Now stumped with the connection for the scissors.
Lafyev jon is haitian for yellow fever. Based on that I looked up yellow fever outbreaks in Haiti and some matched with French invasions. Trying to figure out how "Forced to wear" fits in.
    Any help would be appreciated.

Edit: Finally figured out the invisible flames and the downfall.
