As a preschool teacher I am ashamed to say I just need to go back and learn the differences between letters. I got it. Onto table 3.

Did you find the answer to the kings gift? If so, can you give me a few hints or nudges? :p

It wasn't a gift of money, but of people.

    Hi All,
I'm new to the game. Been working quietly, following the clues. I'm stuck on the
"teacup" puzzle. There were only two clues to get the 'last *big* clue'. But the *big* clue didn't show up. I'm confused. It still shows me that there is a missing puzzle piece with the "teacup"... Can anyone tell me what I am missing? Do I need to finish the other piece first?

    Thanks in advance. :)
    ~sammi

BTW: I figured out what was wrong.. I couldn't see the other piece of the puzzle, due to my gfx card settings, it was hiding. I discovered this, when I went to solve the *big* piece of the puzzle on the far left. I still can't see the entire puzzle piece there. Some of the letters are missing so I'm going to have to wrestle with the GFX settings to see if I can get them to show. *sigh*.....

I'm been trying to the fragment with the river(Which I presume is the Niger river) and with the quote:"From which her nine Yoruban children flow". I can't figure out what is the answer(Although I was sure it was either "Oya" or "Niger"). Would appreciate some nudges in the right direction.

    Thx in adavnce:)

You are on the right track. However, the name is not the short, familiar one. Look for other forms.

I'm really stuck on the pyramid puzzle in New Orleans. I'm fairly certain that I should be looking in
    St Louis Graveyard
but all I can find is stuff about
    Nicolas Cage
I would really appreciate a firm nudge, thanks!

Try looking for a pyramid that was once in the middle of the cemetery but now is in it's entrence
Try searching in other places besides Wikipedia

Hey everyone. I've made a lot of progress and I'm trying to figure out the puzzle with
Kingdom of Kongo and Anders Celsius. It says find a container and I have found things called Nsiki which carry spirits but for the most part this one has me stumped.
A firm nudge would be much appreciated.

Simplify your thinking. Look at what you can create in the sigil. Is it too obvious to say that you have the answer in your mind covered in psuedo-red herrings?

Cemetery. I've looked at all the replies and...

I've filtered out Nicholas Cage. I've looked for moving pyramids. I know there is a Basin street bisecting the St. Louis #1 Cemetery. Famous people are buried there. I've brute force tried to assemble all the permutations of the sigil possibilities - and I'm just not getting anywhere. All the pyramids I'm getting in Nawlins are for Lucien Napoleon Brunswig! Comments here say the answer is deceptively simple... but maybe I'm deceptively simple myself.

So a nudge to the side of the head would save me!

    EDIT: Gotcha!

maybe looking on it with NEW eyes will help, sometimes we miss the largest feature we get in such a state. also

Hi, I'm new here and loving the game but I really need some help with the puzzle with 3 paintings and the text: "With fire, water, baptism and song, celebrations make the short night long". I don't know if I'm here in the good spot, because I don't know which "table" this is. I figured out the link between all paintings and tried all dates I could find. Even looked at all the hints but I don't get anywhere. Could anyone please help me, so I can continue? Thanks so much!

I may have a stronger nudge for you tomorrow (when I will be able to revisit the game), I don't recall what the table looked like off the top of my head, and I'm not sure what the hints said but I can provide the following insight.

What nights are known for being particularly short?
Could fire, water, and song be a celebration of these nights?
In fact, is there a night known for being THE shortest?

In all likelihood, you pieced that together already, so stay tuned for more nudgery.

Hi, thanks but indeed, I pieced that together already. It's hard to put here what I already know, without spoiling it for others. Let's say that if it's a date, no month/date combination works.
Also, sorry for my English, but I'm Flemish...
