Hrmm.... Watches Codex walk off to the janitors closet for a moment then turns his attention to the spilled mop bucket. Attempts to determine why the person responsible for mopping the floor didn't put the mop bucket up after they where finished.

(this defenitly hasn't anything to do with any unauthorised experiments at his previous workstation using any specific collegues as their test subject....) because of the recommandation, he didnt get the change to actually read the 'danger clause' or any descriptions at all. at the moment he works as a 'delivery boy' the 'safely' transport any samples from and to any non-specific lab (which can be challenging, since it literally isnt specified where they are supposed to be sent to) Spoiler: Starting Items 2X Bandages improvised labkit (cursed) extra-large coffee-mug (which for some reason empties itself)(defenitly not because of his caffein addiction *cough*)
[4] Searching around the room you find a switch labelled "Dim Lights". After flicking it, the bright lights diminish into a gentle glow - much more apt for the night shift! [2] You try to open the door but it won't budge. [2] You stare at the puddle of dirty water for a while. You don't determine anything, but you decide you want to avoid falling in it.
"Hey Dylan, did that work?" Explore the room a bit more. Check for things that are out of place, maybe so I can put them away later.
"Hello, Agent On-The-Other-Side-Of-This-Door! Can you help get me out of here?" Maybe it's one of those push locks on the inside. Feel around for the lock on the inside, and try to open the door again.
Under his breath: "Okay then. . . should probably do something about that, so no one else slips or trips." Checks to see if the mop was with the, now overturned, bucket.
Agent Name: Agent Baktic Appearance: Caucasian male, Early twenties, Quiff hairstyle, Tall. Background: After becoming a small time journalist he tried to do a story on a local cult. His interest in this cult became obsession and he was eventually indoctrinated into it. After some time in this cult, he managed to escape and finish his piece. Before it was published, The Black Watchmen managed to find out about his endeavor with this cult and contacted him. Now that he is joining TBW he needs to start somewhere, and they always need some backup for the night shift. Starting Items: Bandage, Journal (Lucky Talisman), and diet peach Snapple.
"It's Codex. I'm working on it... The door is stuck from my side." Examine the door for any obvious locking mechanism.
[2] - You search the room a bit, but don't find anything significant. Maybe it's time to regroup with the others now the lights are on. [4] - You manage to find a lock and get the door open successfully! Now you can finally place the wet floor sign! [3] Now that the lights are on you can see the mop leaning against the wall near the puddle. Seems like whoever was in charge of cleaning didn't do a good job! [5] As you're examining the door, Agent ManyPinkHats manages to open it from the inside. However, now you understand how the locks work! (Agent Codex gets +1 on any rolls involving locking or opening a door from now on) "Okay guys, we may have a slight problem. I've been flicking through the security cameras and it seems like whoever was in charge of locking up the bearwolves did a bad job. I promise it had nothing to do with me. They're kept in one of the enclosure rooms on the Northern corridor, so you're still quite far from them. Keep in mind they move fairly quickly, so I'd recommend either finding a good hiding spot or getting yourself something to fight them off with. Things might get kinda nasty." Spoiler: 21.50 Status Agent Greenstar: Position: Power Room HP: 20/20 Coins: 1 Equipment: Bandages (x3), Lucky iPod Shuffle Status: Alive and healthy Agent Ravenhold: Position: Southern Corridor HP: 20/20 Coins: 10 Equipment: Tactical Vest, SD40 VE (3 clips), Lock Pick set, Smart Phone, Keys Status: Alive and healthy Agent Codex: Position: Outside Janitor's Closet, Southern Corridor HP: 20/20 Coins: 0 Equipment: Bandages (x5), Access Terminal, Cup of Espresso Status: Alive and healthy Skills: +1 on rolls involving locking/opening doors Agent ManyPinkHats: Position: Janitor's Closet HP: 20//20 Coins: 10 Equipment: A Wet Floor sign Status: Alive and healthy (Also to the new players, I've added you to the waitlist, you'll be able to join for Night 2)

Background: Grim joined the agency after being recruited out of school for his talents with magic and repair work. After being accepted and placed into Division 33, he gained strange memories of another time and place. Starting Items: 3 coins, 2 bandages, An old deck of cards (lucky talisman), a magic refillable thermos
"WHAT? THE HELL IS A BEARWOLF?" Come to think of it, it seems fairly easy to figure out what a bearwolf could be. Run back out to find the others. Check the supply closet...thing, where I fell for anything useful to fight with. Maybe a mop? Or a pipe? Or a gun, janitors seem to have an alarming number of those around here.
Grea..at *Sigh* a...and this is why I brought my side arm. . . Unlimbers his SD40 from its holster on his tac-vest, Slides a clip into it and chambers a round. Gets on the line and attempts to get a hold of @Greenstarfanatic as he's running back to us (I don't know how far those two room are from each other). If successful: @Greenstarfanatic : "Hey Greenstar, turn on the main lighting! we're probably going to need it." @everyone else: "Anyone who doesn't have access to a weapon or any type of defensive magics, get into the storage closet or the power room and shut the door and lock it. Find something make shift to fight with and stay put and quiet for now." @dylanamite : "Do we have group or unit or something that's designed to take care of this problem? If so, we should probably get a hold of them."
"I am 100% not dealing with bearwolves tonight. No way." Enter the power room (because large metal door) and begin searching for materials to barricade the door with.
Take the time to do what must be done: Place the wet floor sign. "...wait, what are bearwolves?" Follow Agent... (Kojak? Rolex? whatever they said their name was) and do whatever they're doing.
OOC Post! I'll do the actual turn in the next post. Now that you've all survived for an hour, I'm going to be turning things up a notch. I've purposely made sure everyone stays at 20HP and have only been telling the very basics of story. That's mainly because this is my first time GMing a Roll To Dodge game and I felt like I needed to keep things simple before I got into swing of things. From here on out, you're all going to be able to take damage (which'll mostly incur from rolling a 1 or 6). I'll also be handing out more skills, such as Codex's +1 on door actions, and more special items. I've also decided to write more details. Most of the action responses were sentences at most, but now I'm trying to write an entire paragraph to move the story along. I've also devised a more efficient roll system for when I introduce more skills and strengths which'll add more +1s, -1s and higher bonuses. As you can, bonuses pretty much shift the rolls 1 up, or 1 down the scale. They stack once they get to "Fail" or "Epic Success". (So, for example, with a +5 bonus you'd get an Epic Success on any roll from 1-5.) Another thing which I've decided, but isn't on the chart, is that Overshoots and Epic Fails also get more severe the higher the bonus is. So, a natural 6 will have slightly less negative effects than a 6 +1, which'd be lower than a 6 +2. (So if you had a +5 bonus, you'd get an Epic Success on 1-5, but a very bad Overshoot if you rolled a 6.) We also have a few new recruits who've signed up for the Night Shift, in order of the waiting list: Spoiler: Waiting List Agent GavinHawkins Position: Waiting Room HP: 20/20 Coins: 3 Inventory: Bandages (x2) Improvised Labkit (Cursed - Grants -1 to a roll) Self-Emptying Extra-Large Coffee Mug Agent Baktic Position: Waiting Room HP: 20/20 Coins: 5 Inventory: Bandage (x1) Journal (Lucky - Grants +1 to a roll) Diet Peach Snapple Agent Grim Position: Waiting Room HP: 20/20 Coins: 3 Inventory: Bandages (x2) Old Deck of Cards (Lucky - Grants +1 to a roll)
Okay I'm currently sorting out my spreadsheet so I'll have the actual turn up in about an hour or so. The dice have been rolled and your fates are now sealed. I'll give you a little teaser. Everyone had 2 actions this turn. 3 of you got both a 3 and a 5 (pretty lucky!) the other one of you got both a 1 and a 2... maybe not so lucky...
22:00 [5] - Run back out to find the others. [3] - Check the supply closet/puddle area. "WHAT? THE HELL IS A BEARWOLF!?" Agent Greenstar shouted down his comms unit as he burst into action. On second thoughts, he decided that 'bearwolf' was a pretty self-explanatory name. He just hoped he wouldn't encounter one anytime soon. With one final glance around the Power Room, he dashed out the door and headed back down the corridor to regroup with the others. As he was running, the comms unit crackled and he heard Agent Ravenhold's voice: "Hey, turn on the main lighting!" Heading back to the puddle of water halfway down the corridor, he frantically searched for anything to be used as a weapon. The mop leaning against the wall looked to be the best choice. That was until he saw Agent ManyPinkHats walking out of a nearby Janitor's Closet. Aha! Maybe there's something better in there? After a quick search he concluded that the storeroom only contained toilet rolls and cleaning products. Guess the mop will have to do. [3] - Unholster and load gun [5] - Operate comms Ravenhold quickly grabbed his SD40 from it's holster, preparing himself to shoot if needed. He hadn't had a past experience with a bearwolf and he was hoping to keep it that way. He takes a few deep breaths and then chambers a round, ready for combat. Reaching up to his earpiece, he shouts orders to his fellow agents. "Get into the storage or power room! Lock the doors, find weapons, and stay put! Agent Dylanamite, can anyone help us out here?" "Uh, not exactly. We're pretty much the only people in the building right now. I can call for backup but who knows how long they'd take to arrive." "Great," Ravenhold thought to himself. Just what he needed to hear. [3] - Enter the power room [5] - Look for barricades "I'm definitely not dealing with more bearwolves. No way." Unlike everyone else on her team, Agent Codex had encountered bearwolves before and, well, it wasn't on her bucket list to see them again. She quickly walked the rest of the Southern Corridor and arrived at the door to the Power Room. It seemed pretty sturdy, and looked like it could keep a bearwolf at bay. Upon entering the room she hastily searched for anything that would be useful as a barricade. An unused metal table sat in the corner of the room, and a few filing cabinets lined the far wall. They'd certainly help! [1] - Place the Wet Floor sign [2] - Follow Agent Codex Agent ManyPinkHats, after finally getting out of the Janitor's Closet, was glad to be able to complete his task at last. This puddle has caused too many people to get soggy clothes tonight! But not anymore! He stood over the puddle, opened the wet floor sign and plac--- A huge roar resounded through the corridor. Agent ManyPinkHats, taken by surprise, instinctively held the Wet Floor sign up to defend himself. The noise sounded like it could have come from a bear.... although it sounded similar to a howl, so maybe it was a wolf? He was tempted to follow... whatshername down the corridor and hide, but he'd spent so long trying to sort out the puddle problem - he couldn't just give up now! Torn between keeping himself safe and keeping others safe, he found he could do nothing but stand still. Spoiler: 22.00 Status Agent Greenstar Position: Southern Corridor HP: 20/20 Coins: 1 Equipment: Bandages (x3) iPod Shuffle (Lucky - Grants +1 to any roll) Mop Status: Alive, healthy, brandishing a mop, damp clothes (with Agent Ravenhold) Agent Ravenhold Position: Southern Corridor HP: 20/20 Coins: 10 Equipment: Tactical Vest SD40 VE (2 clips) Lock Pick set Smart Phone Keys Status: Alive, healthy, armed and loaded (with Agent Greenstar) Agent Codex Position: Power Room HP: 20/20 Coins: 0 Equipment: Bandages (x5) Access Terminal Cup of Espresso Skills: +1 on "door" actions Status: Alive, healthy, barricading the power room Agent ManyPinkHats Position: Puddle in Southern Corridor HP: 20/20 Coins: 10 Equipment: A Wet Floor sign Status: Alive, healthy, damp clothes, defending himself with the sign
"That figures. . ." He says, "Alright, well, You should probably call them anyway. The problem may or may not be fixed before they get here, but I'd feel better knowing that backups on the way." He turns to face the the direction the sound just came from and gets ready to react as they approach. Aiming his weapon, but trying to keep Manypinkhats out of his line of fire as much as possible, if he happens to end up in it.
A MOP WILL HAVE TO DO. Set a trap for the bearwolves by knocking over the mop bucket. If Many is still there, grab him and hide in the closet he was trapped in before.
