I posted this in a comment yesterday, but I don't know if you check those, so I'm posting it here as well. On a side note, the 22 Cans team said that they would give a shout-out already (though it hasn't happened yet, we'll see...) ------------------------------------- In my opinion, you should try reaching out to other KickStarters. Back a couple, and see if you can make some cross-game arrangements. I messaged about a dozen and a half games, etc... that I've pledged to on your behalf, but I don't know if anyone will respond (since I'm not the company hosting the project). You may also want to put your project on Kicking it Forward (http://kickingitforward.org/) as that will garner some good will, and make other projects look at yours more favorably as well. Lastly, I don't know how KickStarter picks their front page projects, but it may be worth your time to write in to them and see if they will host your project on the front page for a day. On to a question about the campaign. For the jackets, I have the understanding that the one in the special ops pledge is digital camo, while the add-on is black? Is there any way to get the black jacket from the spec ops pledge? (not a fan of digicam at all)
I got this feedback from others as well, they said mixing with the right KicksStarter can proove lucrative and efficient. I agree with you also that we need to be on KS case so we become staff pick somehow! For the rewards questions, VGG will answer.
Speaking for the super broke yet easily allured, my feedback is I would love to see a $10 addon option, such as stickers/bumper stickers or the like. I can squeak a $10 addon out of love for Div 66, but the higher options are simply out of my reach. Is this something that could be considered?
Asariel: It's been suggested already and we will put them up, it's a great idea! Probably white on transparent, like apple. We may include a bunch for free in higher pledge also. (PS: Bats and VGG are going to hate me for not going trough them first)
While you've got some excellent suggestions in the rest of the post, there's not a whole lot I can add... But on this point, I can be a little more helpful. Very helpful, even: Yes! You will indeed be able to chose between black and digicam versions of the extra-spiffy Division-42 jacket with the Spec Ops package. (also, for those who do like their digicam, I believe there should also be a matching version of the patrol cap available) Not I. Stickers sound like a great idea. (but VGG may break your fingers) -Bats
Nice work on spreading the word, Ruke! Excellent news! Camouflage on me would be as helpful as a hiding from a charging rhino behind a tuft of grass. *secretly hopes the TBW matrix background will be an option for the jacket "camouflage"*
That'd look fantastic... but I have a feeling getting jackets made from custom-printed fabric is going to be slightly more expensive than getting a logo printed & some patches made for mass-produced models. -Bats
Aye, it most likely would get just a smidge more costly. Then again, if interest is high enough, it could also generate quite a few more pledges. Anyway, don't mind me - 6 A.M. in the morning and I can no longer mentally clench in the brainfarts. Not that I try to normally, anyway. .. *ahem*
Nice! And someone, please add your version of how you lived the game that is not just about the Google Map. (Even if it's a cool part) =)
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1621774283/battle-systemstm-fantasy-dungeon-terrain Hit their goal in 13 minutes. They're doing incredibly well. You might want to get in touch with them and see if you can get a shoutout or work a collaboration (perhaps one of the creators as a character or some such?). Will keep tossing stuff like this here when I come across it.
Miniature and TCG are doing incredible well on KS. When you look at Game Workshop or some TCG franchise, it's, not surprised. We are going to see if we can have a shootout from Ragnar Tørnquist for 'ol time sake' and other. But I'm on it with the miniature!
Yes! I would really appreciate the possibility to buy a sticker for my car. This way i would also do some advertising...
