FINAL EDIT: Please come into the IRC via the Live Chat button in the corner of the page. If one of the moderators is around they will be able to verify your account and you will be free to post.

    EDIT 2:
EDIT: If you are having this problem, it may be your email provider blocking messages from The Black Watchmen. If this is your problem, switching to a different account (i.e. GMail) will get you your confirmation email, but you may not be able to switch back and still post. If that is the case, you can easily create a GMail account (or other) to use for The Black Watchmen, or find a different email to receive intel at.

Agent MoPono registered last week but never received the confirmation email and therefore cannot post or like comments. The re-send confirmation button doesn't help. Email is a local ISP, but the forum address is whitelisted and spam folder has been checked. Switching address to a Gmail account doesn't fix the missing confirmation email.

    Any thoughts?

Thanks for all your help and suggestions on the IRC channel, I still haven't identified the problem but I'm in now.

Hooray! Well, this thread is closed. Antivirus software blocking it, then?

This is odd. I get forum notifications just fine at a trashmail alias on yahoo.com. I don't get them to my local ISP (olypen.com).
I've whitelisted humanequation.co and adoyon@ the mail is not dropping anywhere on my ISP.
I've forwarded a confirmation email received at yahoo, it arrived at olypen intact so the problem isn't content.
I guess the answer is to set up a TBW dedicated alias on yahoo and have my mail client POP it from there.
This will then be a dead issue for me but I post my conculsion in case it helps others.

Your MSP's mx1.osmtp.net doesn't support TLS, so perhaps it's also missing the encryption support off incoming. Also possible the humanequation.co address is blacklisted or filtered at the ISP level, or filtered at a routing level on a server relay.

I think the email is probably running afoul of the automated Spam filters ISPs and email providers have. Looking at the header of the email I received, there is nothing wrong with it, but there are a couple items which may get flagged when passing through a system depending on how it is setup. Particularly, the bigger, busier systems which would lead to some people getting an email on a certain provider and others not. Like I couldn't get an email on two different private accounts, AOL, or Yahoo, but got confirmations on Gmail and Hotmail.

Could try whitelisting [email protected] (retrieved from the header of a confirmation email that made it through), but I don't know what else might use a similar looking or the same domain. Only other option is try turning the spam filtering service off if that particular email provider allows it or a different email.

I mention these possibilities cause I ran into this at work where I had setup certain requirements for incoming emails to meet or it would just get dropped at the door. Needless to say we had customers whose emails didn't conform, which is a royal pita, but solvable or fixable. Viva la Spam!

It arrived for me right away, no problems what-so-ever. :)

Ok, yeah, it appears some providers just aren't getting the emails. Tried over and over on mine (which is mail.com) and couldn't get it. Switched to a gmail account and got it on the first try...
Edited to add: also, if I switch back to the unconfirmable account, I can't post anymore either.

I had this problem too. I had to request help and they were able to fix it manually. I have looked at spam blocking, junk email rules and folders, and my AV; but I cannot figure out what is causing it.
