I've recently bought and downloaded The Black Watchmen and I'm excited to play. Unfortunately whenever I start the game and go through the login screen, the screen blacks out, the music still plays and I can still hit escape and hear the sound of the menu opening as well as use it to quit the game by remembering where the button is, but I daren't do anything further. I have tried updating my graphics driver, restarting my computer, reinstalling the game, reinstalling it with the firewall turned off, playing it in compatibility mode, using different resolutions, using different graphics qualities but nothing is working, I just get the same problem again, please help.
Hi Graviel! We have push a new patch, can you try it out? You may have to quit and reboot steam to force the update on the game client.
Important news from Grumpytown: If you owe a Radeon like me (390), disable Gaming Evolved! I got the logo once, after that a black screen. Sound was ok, keyboard worked, but no view anymore. I installed the newest AMD package, 15.11, without result. I deleted the Steam program folder and reloaded the whole game, same...no result. I disabled the AMD Software, and wow...it works. Grummel....nuff said
