Alpha 1.1.0 - Pc Edition

I am not sure what I am doing wrong, it won't run for me. I have tried downloading twice. I get this message: "
There should be 'alpha-1.1.0_Data'
folder next to the executable"

Edit update: ok, I figured that out. I have the situation room. I can get to the agent map and the browser so far.

Edit update again: I closed out the game to see if I could get back on and got the first error message I posted again. Right now it's looking as if I have to redownload from scratch to get it to work again.

 

My map is slow as well, but not horrifically slow.

 

For those just joining in, the original post has been updated with a consolidated list of the bugs reported thus far.

I have a crash report to share (zip). To which mail-address should I send it?
[To specify: I hit Esc and confirmed to exit the game and the error message popped up]

 

Just tried it out. Wanted to ask, how did the game get my class? Or is that just automatically added since this is in alpha?

 

You can't select your class yet at this point so it is the same for everyone.

 

Isn't it obvious? You're being watched and profiled. HQ already knows what class you're going to choose.

Ok then! I just finished testing the game!

Here's my report:

• Creating the account worked
• The screens would display properly (I'll check this week end to see if some screens have changed)
• The map is fairly accurate (maybe 200km away)
• The browser works fine for me (wikipedia, forum, google, and hex)
• The settings work as planned
• The game gave a crash message as I closed the app.

No major bugs found (I didn't try anything silly)

 

I just tested the game. First time (on my dad's internet) everything worked fine, on my own internet the screens showed dots (most of them did) and the map was blank. For those with blank map issues check your internet speeds. BTW the browser worked fine both times.

 

Memo to self: During field missions, do not contact imef to request location of objective.

Funny, the browser works for me but the map doesn't.

Since nobody replied to my question about the bug report, I guess I just throw it away.

 

I will try the application from another machine. Otherwise, I tried to disable my firewall but no effect. The map doesn't display as well as the pages launched by the browser.

EDIT: I sent you a PM for the generated report regarding the crash with "QUIT GAME" button.

 

They both are french speakers!

Nb: I don't know where Deepthroat lives, but Erebe is from Belgium.
And Ashielf, aren't you from Germany?
Some places in Europe don't like the alpha client
