Hi all, After having some problems caused by network issues on my side, I have a few suggestions regarding the behaviour of the game when the network is acting up: 1) The message I was getting when the game couldn't connect stated that the server was undergoing maintenance. This wasn't actually the case, and caused me to sit and wait for a while instead of attempting to fix the issue. So: 1A) The game should be able to tell the difference between server maintenance and the network being down. 1B) I'm still getting the above message; restarting the game a few times eventually fixes it. Maybe the client should be able to make a few attempts at connecting before giving up. 2) Under limited bandwidth conditions, briefing videos take forever to load. That's not much anyone can do about that, but: 2A) It would be nice if there was a way to abort video load. 2B) After loading, the video still had extreme stuttering. That seems like a bug. 2C) Once loaded, the video should be cached, at least for the duration of the session.
Hi, It seems I have problems too, although it seemed to work fine the days before. - I had the same "undergoing maintenance" message (restarting the game several times seemed to resolve the issue) - I have trouble accessing the forum and entering the answers ingame because of "could not solve cms.black" for the moment (insiting a few times makes it pass) - I have the following error when surfing to cms.blackwatchmen.com: The webpage at http://cms.blackwatchmen.com/ might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address. I hope this might offer a bit information. I suppose the issue is on my side, but other internet-based applications / websites seem to run fine, so I don't really know what to do.
Hi there! I did experiment similar problem on my side too, so it's not isolated to you guys. We are trying to reproduce the issue.
I'm glad to hear it's not just me... I was afraid it was my ISP and there'd be nothing to be done about it.
