Advanced Mission 2: Quantum Leap (An Apology)

I deeply apologize for hacking your email on your birthday. It's unfortunate that you caught the attention of my supervisors, but you did, and well, I have to do what they tell me. I'm sure you understand, as you are likely also just a pawn in your corporate structure and also must do what you're told. But really, I do feel bad. If you receive a box of cupcakes from an anonymous person, just consider it a gift for all the trouble I'm sure I caused you.

Ok, now that my conscience is a bit clearer, I just wanted to report that the game still thinks he's 40, not 41. Trust me to catch something that's probably only a problem one day a year.

And this is something that's confused me since it was first used. but hopefully it's ok to ask here, since it was mentioned. It's the XKeyScore tool. No matter what mission I'm on, it's still showing Laura Walker as the only choice. Is that the only thing it's used for (note: I haven't done any missions yet past this one) or is there something else I can do with it?

I read in one of the posts someone mentioning extra intel. I get the image and the extra intel on the mission screen, I'm not missing anything else, am I? (The things in my inventory don't seem to do anything.)

I also seem to remember the mission intro mentioning better password hacking technology, but the interface looked the same. Am I missing something there, too? (I know this is only alpha, so I know it will change along the way, but right now "am I missing something?" is my feeling after a lot of these missions.)

Also, while I'm here (sorry for tacking on a random tiny bug report, but it's not really worth a post), I noticed that the sfuzzer description in the text shows as an example that sfuzzer newsstreamlive.ca -t 30 will perform a 10s dictionary attack. That's 30s, isn't it?

 

regarding the xkeyscore tool, all of the missions after News stream Live, are older then the xkeyscore tool and are supposedly placeholders for the official missions, so the xkeyscore doesnt work in those missions.
just like when they mention "better password hacking tool", originally this was the first time you used the password attack module.
