In Nite Team 4 there isn't much of a tutorial, so I put together this thread to help people with a good explanation for what each command does.

beacon - on the ground missions, it is used to start or stop a certain connection beacon by using "beacon start" and "beacon stop" you can also use "beacon connect *intercept_point" to connect the beacon to an intercept point (note: you have to be on the active beacon to connect to an intercept point)

bounce - the command you use to connect to a proxy (used to hide your real IP address) by clicking on the proxy to connect to and typing "bounce"

cat - used to return the contents of the file to the terminal by using "cat *file_name"

cd - probably the most useful command and is used to go into different folders, you can go into a folder by typing "cd *folder_name" or go back a folder by typing "cd .." or go back to the very beginning by typing "cd \"

clam - used to initiate data transfers and appears with a mini-game, to start it, you have to be connected to a beacon and type "clam start" and to end it you can type "clam exit"

clear - pretty obvious, used to clear your terminal by typing "clear"

    connect -
used to connect to an IP once it has no firewall active, and to use it you have to select that ip and type "connect"

    display -
this command seems to be currently broken, but it should show an image viewer and showing an image by typing "display *image_name"

    echo -
currently no use, but it outputs a string of text by typing "echo *text"

    eval -
currently no use, but used to evaluate equations and outputs it by typing "eval *equation"

    exit -
it is used to disconnect from the current host by typing "exit"

    exploitfw -
used to bypass a firewall so you can connect to the client by opening a mini-game, you start it by typing "exploitfw"

    geolookup -
used to find an IP on the map, and is used by typing "geolookup *IP"

    help -
used to show a list of commands by typing "help" and can get extra info on a command by typing "help *command"

    htp -
used to transfer file to a host, by typing "htp *file_name" and then you will be asked for a username and a password which you type in when it asks you to

infect - used to infect or get rid of malware, with there being 2 types, velvet, easdropping malware, and scarlet, ransomware you use the command by typing "infect *deploy/remove *type_of_malware"

    ls -
lists all of the files and folders of the directory by typing "ls"

    npm -
currently no use, but is used to install or uninstall packages from a repo, you install by typing "npm install *source" and uninstall by typing "npm uninstall *package"

    ping -
currently no use, but is used to ping an IP and output the time it took to get a respond and is used by typing "ping *IP"

    rm -
used to remove a file by typing "rm *file_name"

    rmdir -
used to remove a directory/folder by typing "rm *folder_name"

    scan -
used to scan an IP and can return its type, name, firewall, tracing, if it is infected with malware, beacon health, and beacon power, and is used by typing "scan *IP"

    stinger-ls -
is used to show all files and directories/folders and is used by typing "stinger-ls"

    stinger-reset -
is used to restart the demo by typing "stinger-reset"

    version -
displays the current version of the stinger terminal by typing "version"

    zip -
used to compress files or directories into a .zip file and is used by typing "zip *file/directory"

Excellent! It is quite tiring to type "help", scroll the list of command, type "help command" to look for what command to use. Thank you

technically, the alpha in itself is pretty much a tutorial in itself; it doesnt really ask for rocket science and from how i remembered it, it told you pretty much the commands you needed to insert

but im really greatful for the help [command] function, cause it always helps to have a cheatsheet, when youve left the game for a while :p
