debriefing email received from Dispatch (for documentation): ------------------------------------------------------------------ AGENT deidhena, Operation PRESTIGE has concluded with minimal casualties. All computer systems belonging to Triscane Labs were fully compromised by our technical teams. We are still reverse engineering their software and teleportation equipment. (continue in next post)
The surviving lab subjects were returned to their families and are expected to recover from teleportation sickness in 2-3 weeks. A field agent met with a rift research scientist in Calgary to deliver important documents taken from Triscane Labs. The meeting was at a Tim Hortons and after responding to a challenge question, the agent delivered the documents and received a confirm code. The scientist was able to provide plans for a signal jammer based on the Triscane Labs rift-teleportation paper. The signal jammers established by the agent network prevented any teleportation experiments from being conducted by undiscovered Triscane Labs locations and a permanent jamming solution has been constructed at a secure Black Watchmen facility. Triscane Labs will remain under investigation until all labs are found and shut down. We are working with law enforcement agencies to look for signs of additional human experimentation. i want to pop in quickly to say well done to everyone for collaborating so well on this mission! i feel like we did a really good job of working together this time around, and special shoutout to mid for doing a really good job co-ordinating when we all elected you out of the blue
I noticed that Subjects A-C had been taken care of, but there wasn't any mention of whether Subject D's next of kin will be notified for closure... if a non-agency inquiry or search team investigating the disappearance happens to stumble over any of this, however unlikely, the coverup operation we may have to undertake to keep the public in the dark will be immensely difficult and costly. I've emailed Dispatch regarding this but no news as yet.
Alright, panic averted - SET6 spun a cover story and settled Subject D's family with closure for the disappearance. Good op, agents.
