Excellent points. Since she is likely to keep her answers brief, I think we should narrow it down a bit more. For one, I am curious who this "he" she mentioned is. Also, as a general rule, we shouldn't be quick to reveal ourselves or our nature. The questions we ask may do this in ways we don't realize. As far as follow-up: that's definitely a consideration. Something could happen to her before we have time to ask more. On that note, we should have a plan to ensure her safety as well as establish a regular means of contact (off the grid, courier maybe?).
Do we have any information about how to post the questions? If it's a realtime-dialogue we should start with broad, open questions and narrow the topics down as we go. If she'll answer pre-posted questions via another video we should try to establish the important facts of the events at the clinic with an as short as possible list of questions. I'd recommend the Five Ws as a guideline: Who was involved in what way? Who is "He"? What happened at the clinic/during the fire? What is the connection to the BDNF-Gene? What kind of help are you expecting from us? When did it take place/for what period of time were the experiments being conducted? Where did the experiments take place/was the Rosenberg clinic the only facility? Where are you? Why did the experiments happen? What was their purpose? Why did you contact us?
As for trust: Questions certainly give away some information about us, but if Baup knew how to contact us she already knows at least some basics about our organization. I'd say let's just see if the information she has to offer are worthwhile and plausible and then decide whether to trust the shady lady ;-)
I think the best questions would be: What was Rosenberg working on? Did it have any relation with the cause of the fire? What happened during the fire? Where were you? Do you have a timeline of what happened? Do you know where Rosenberg is now? Why are you hiding? What can we do to help you? And of course, "are you alright?"
Something clicked in my head - but I may be hallucinating again.... So far, it looks like the Rosenberg Clinic is the public face of part of a larger organization - the way it crashed and is reborn so quickly with different staff. I vaguely remember a connection between our adversaries at the previous Rosenberg Clinic and our adversaries at the Barbizon Hotel. Is there a connection? If my hallucinations are instead, true. Then, we've seen at least two tentacles of a larger operation, an octopus or a shoggoth. We might consider directing a query in that direction, something like: "Was the Rosenberg Clinic independent? Where did the finance come from?" Sort of dancing around the subject "Who were your evil overlords?"
Funding is a good question as well. They performed experiments, and not surgeries and the like. Right?
I'm at work so I can't, but someone should make a Google doc to compile a list of these questions and post the link here. It'll be easier to keep a running list there
Done as Treble has requested. I have literally copied and pasted all of the questions from here, going to go through now and get rid of duplicate suggestions and group together the other questions in some kind of logical order. Link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1TkTrvRDhDUoQC1k7bLT0IsIESCaD6OZO4mlNS4Xr3Kw/edit?usp=sharing Edit: Okay have gone in and grouped the questions and removed any that were too similar. I reworded a couple that might be slightly more leading than the original question asked. I definitely think that anything we do decide on should be fairly open as it is likely to gain more information. I have grouped them in to 5 categories just about. The first are all questions relating to helping her / finding out Who she is hiding from, etc. The second is about the research and her involvement. The third is about Rosenberg himself. The fourth is about Rosenberg Clinic. And the fifth is just a bunch of miscellaneous questions.
While I tend to agree with your point, we should at least consider the possibility that she is an enemy agent working for an organization with little intel on who we are and how we operate. It's even possible (though admittedly unlikely) that this is a setup meant to confirm rumors of our existence. Until we verify that this isn't the case, our questions should be carefully constructed to give away as little about us as possible, especially in the beginning. Something along the lines of "Just who are we, exactly?" may even be a wise first move. If her answer is spotty and looks like fishing, we may have to have a cover identity prepared to give her if we aren't secure that she is on our side.
I agree. It wouldn't surprise me if references to unknown private groups in various documents etc. could be to Rosenberg Clinic and/or groups they are affiliated with.
I've added the link to Tutsie's google doc to the OP; If we're going to keep it down to a few questions, I'd suggest people either add an "X" for each question they'd prioritize, or alternatively, that we establish a poll a few days before we expect her to report back. We can then prioritize them when we ask her, and she can then answer as many of them as possible, starting with the highest prioritized question.
Do we think that the comments will unlock on the 15th July for us to post our question to Vanessa? "If you have any question for me then post it here and I will respond in 2 weeks" I'm still unsure as to where we need to post our question exactly, on the reddit thread or as a comment to the video which is disabled!
We're getting down to the wire and we've had more than enough time. Basically, I think Vanessa would appreciate it if we show that we've prioritized. So I'm going to combine the top questions. c: I'm going to sift through questions after 3PM EST today, combine/edit, and put up a Google Form for a multiple-choice vote. Once that's up, hopefully tonight, voting will be up until 11AM EST Friday. The top ten questions will be submitted as a text post ("self post") on the subreddit by 1PM EST, perhaps with another additional five "if you can" questions. I'm aware that questions have already been submitted to the subreddit via comments on the video -- but again, Vanessa likely has a tight schedule. It'd be good to redirect the question-asking to one place. If you have any questions or serious objections lemme know.
I don't have any questions / serious objections but I would suggest taking the questions from the google doc linked in the OP and then creating the google form from that. I did a similar thing a week ago and there has been no further questions added to the thread since then. So far it looks like - out of the 43 questions posted in the thread (not counting all duplicate questions) - people want to see 12 prioritised. The most popular 2 - with 3 votes: What can you tell us about the people that are forcing you to hide that could help us help you? Can you give us a timeline of events that happened before, during and after the fire, including your whereabouts and who started the fire? What about the other missing people, are you in contact with them? Followed by 2 votes: Can you explain your work at the Rosenberg Clinic and the research they were doing into the BDNF gene? Each of the following have 1 vote: What/Who has forced you into hiding? Are you hiding from or with Rosenberg? What was Rosenberg working on? Did it have any relation to the fire? Do you have any information regarding Rosenberg's location/status? What or who are the Shadows? (Confirm identity?) What is your password for the intranet site ? Do you know the pass key for the #BDNF irc Has your mother's death any ties to BDNF? Are you in direct contact with any of our agents? I fully agree with creating a proper poll though as it will likely yield better results, perhaps even posted in a new thread for visibility if that's allowed? Vanessa Questions - Poll inside - Deadline 11am EST Friday as the title or something along those lines?
