Do you think the Gwendolyn rhyme and the Oblivion file are related? Or might they be two entirely separate things? I am stubbornly convinced that the Gwendolyn rhyme leads back to Whitechapel, but I have been trying every password I can think of related to that on the Oblivion file with no luck. So I wondered: am I headbanging in an entirely wrong direction? What do you think?

I'd be curious if all the Oblivion.zip files differ slightly. If anyone besides Shah who got one wouldn't mind running HashMyFiles (http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/hash_my_files.html) and posting the results, it would be awesome! My current feeling is, either they all have different passwords or it's just a time stamp that got updated before the compression was performed, but still curious

 

Have to play around and try that after work if I can. Norton doesn't like the .exe!

 

I think that it's quite likely X and Y are connected, because of their proximity. When two files are sent together with hidden information it's natural to assume so. What I'm not convinced about is Y and the Rosenberg email being connected. I think that Y could be an entirely self-contained mission, due to thematic differences and distance.

Sorry, that was me just testing to see if the mailbox was being monitored. I did not see anyone actually try emailing it yet, so I figured I'd see if I could get a response by sending an RP message instead of just saying "Hey I'm playing this game and I am stuck. Can you give me a clue?" I knew the mailbox was open for monitoring, since I was doing so. I didn't think to alert people that I was trying to use it. Please accept my humble apologies.

As for the Montessori connection… I noticed a Montessori school in the area in Michigan I tracked the phone number to. The nursery rhyme made me think there might be a connection. It was just a shot in the dark. It might still be something, but I have no special knowledge one way or the other.

 

Well I was monitoring it expecting some message to be sent giving additional information

Just got my package, says to "Contact Agent Russell immediately"

 

Wonder if there are actually 2 messages; one being the intercepted message, the other being additional instructions/notes from TBW HQ (Contact Agent Russell, Content also concerns human..).

 

This could be a forwarded email from HQ. Such as:

>From Rosenberg to 4515
>Stuff stuf stuff
>Illegal stuff

This happened, contact Russell.
