If you type "connect [ip address]" while inside a folder, it will reconnect you to the machine you're on - but not update the folder you're in. Spoiler: Reproduction In the mission where you're finding the target's home computer, mistakenly use "connect [ip]" instead of the geolookup command. You cannot run commands in parallel, but you can switch target devices while commands are running. Spoiler: Reproduction In the fourth tutorial mission, if you infect deploy velvet on POP1 and then switch to POP2 before the command finishes, it will put your mission in a strange state that can only be fixed by uninstalling velvet from both POP devices, even though you never installed it on POP2 Follows are some minor complaints Tab autocomplete probably shouldn't insert tab characters if there's no valid completion options The LS command doesn't allow you to peek into directories The username/password for the scp command was meant to be lowercase, however briefing gives you these details in uppercase. The scrollbar in the terminal pane is hard to see localhost-roc/var/sesionVar I feel like this is a typo of sessionVar
Also, while I can't figure out what I did, Mission 4 has a problem where the repair doesn't seem to be acknowledged under at least some circumstances, and trying to figure it out I lost access to the field agent to retry it. EDIT: Found the source of the bug - it's possible to connect to the beacons before you're supposed to, breaking the mission sequence. Had to reset the game completely to get around it.
General (opinion-based) feedback: Briefings could, in my opinion, do with having the text pre-written. Having to sit through the text being written out - even with the excellent voice-acting - gets a bit tedious each mission. On an aside, perhaps if the voice-overs had more a feel of someone explaining the mission briefing to you, with the text-based briefing remaining as it is, rather than having the two be identical word-for-word, a higher sense of presence might be achieved. Commands: cd <directory> or cd.. doesn't seem to move you back to the parent directory, only cd /<directory> will. Spoiler entering SCARLET or VELVET returns the program as already installed, only lowercase will succesfully install the packages Other: Ogallala!!.. <insert picture of Kirk cursing Khan here> Renamed thread to reflect feedback for current version of Niteteam4.
There is a bug in mac version of mission 4 when I started clam from the beacon the window for the node disappear after a couple of second. I don't know why but I was able to complete mission 4 after I closed niteteam4 for the third time. Also sometimes scan does not detect velvet when I already infect both targets.
On mission 4, attempting to open clam just did nothing, and I was locked out from trying to open it again. I reset the mission, but when I did, field operatives did not unlock for me and I had no access to them. I had to restart from mission 3 to be able to use them.
Bug in mission 4: on my machine when I go to deploy the agent, because of the screen movement, and agent placement it is hard to open the tools and activate the repair. Was *impossible* to activate other tools (though not needed here). The lower left POP was also hard to click on due to it scrolling behind the command window. Confusion in CLAM: it was unclear how to actually make it work even with the help.. I believe I succeeded solely by luck not by any knowledge or skill and couldn't tell you how or why it told me decryption was successful. This game was also scrolling along with the background and so it was hard to click on things reliably.
On mission 4 I'm unable to advance beyond the repair. I've tried restarting the client and even resetting all of my progress. The repair works but the objective is never acknowledged as completed
