I'm surprised that no one else apparently had problems with this card, but I'm stuck on it for a while now. To recap, it's called "outside help", has a picture of an African (presumably Yoruba) shaman, and the text says "trusted methods of which he speaks, go beyond the technique". Spoiler: it seems obvious that.. "he" is Jonathan Reeves, who helps Jocelyn by teaching her lucid dreaming, which "goes beyond" the Glasswick techinique (that didn't work massively well with her). Neither of those fits though, and I can't seem to find any reference to a particular African lucid dreaming technique that would either. Am I on the right track here at all?

Ok that should give me enough to go on, thanks (still haven't found the exact answer though). This one seems like a big ARG bump compared to the rest of the game. So far it was mostly wikipedia-based.
Looks like I'm still unable to progress Spoiler I got the links to est and Mind Dynamics (both the now defunct original and mind-dynamic.com, which I'm guessing is fake), but there's still nothing there that would fit the text. I fear the answer is just too ARG-ey and far-fetched for me.
yeah I got that address from his email already, looked through all pictures, read not-tobetruffled's links, but I still don't see anything that would fit. At this stage I can use a really blunt hint, possibly even a straight answer, since the puzzle is already spoiled beyond repair for me anyway, and I already opened almost everything else. Ok nevermind - I got it. Turns out it didn't even need any links, just the picture was enough. Not sure how it happened, I think I was trying to spell it wrong for some reason, and stopped when I didn't find a certain letter. ..aand looks like the game's finished now, although there's still an unopened isolated star-shaped hole, but nothing is interactive anymore.
rumpelstiltskin I'm following you along but I've yet to get there - I'm not even convinced this whole forum isn't part of the game! What got you on the right path?
game/reality does there need to be a difference, by the way one-iron-not-tobetruffled's tumblr account is not official game material it is my silly tumblr account i have not done much with in a long time-errr like ever... have fun living/err playing which ever sounds more appropriate
