I used oil, too. No shops open on Sunday, but I had lavender- and mint-oil in the house. No idols here, either, so I used a small metal idol of my own. Spoiler Got confirmation from dispatch.
Alright I need to ask if there is a list of locations where the Divine Sigil has been applied? I am in the midst of preparing my solution and I can think of multiple idols that would work in my area, I'd hate to double dip and go to an idol that has already been visited as my available time is limited today and I imagine repeating the sigil in the same location would not increase the effectiveness

I have identified the six closest bronze idols open to the sky in my area and am planing my route now. For good measure I intend to, within my apartment, repeat the sigil upon paper, as suggested in the case of there being no idols nearby, for this I will use a large sheet, hopefully this won't be a redundant procedure, effectively allowing me to apply the sigil seven times within my area

So... mine may be the most sketchy banishment ritual of all of you. I don't have mint, but I do have Altoids mints I don't have lavender, but I do have lavender scented air freshener I don't have a statue, so I just have to draw it on paper
