So do we have to decode all of that?
EDIT: Just ignore me, my Gmail decided to make me look like a fool.
Uh, I think you have the wrong email there
Whoaaaa, I come home to find that all the ciphertext has been released and everyone is tearing into it like y'all were the Rosenberg Clinic and the message was an unethically obtained cadaver. Nice going!
The text appears to read:
We've been transcribing it as a group over at
seems like we're getting the same stuff
Okay we need as many agents as possible working on this
Sent an e-mail to dispatch with the picture:
Spoiler: E-Mail to Dispatch
"Hello Dispatch, Agent Kakuzen here
Instructions for Banishment Ritual were decoded. Here are the instructions. Have the Strike Team follow them to the fullest.
Will wait for Dispatch's reply in the next few hours.
I'll go crazy here and assume we're okay missing that one tile.
No way, we need that. It's super-important. Imperative to the mission. Lang, are you nuts?!
we're most definitely not okay missing that one tile
that one missing tile is going to give me countless nights without sleep
i won't be able to go a second without wondering what could possibly be behind that one missing tile
it's going to frustrate me over and over again for the rest of my life
Obviously! What if there is an emoji on that square that is crucial to the missions success? I wouldn't be able to sleep at night if we failed the mission because of a winkey face!
I sent dispatch a picture of the decoded document. They just replied.
Agent Asvar Tyros,
Excellent work. We have received the document and are currently performing an immediate investigation into the specific instructions required for the banishment ritual. Agents should be prepared to execute the banishment ritual and gather the supplies necessary for it. If we require deployment, then we will notify agents through our agency email server.
*sitting in the rubble of human civilisation*
"If only we decoded that last damn tile"
My response was pretty much the same from Dispatch when I sent them the document:
Understood, all active agents did an excellent job with this code
breaking task. We will begin an immediate analysis of the document and
try to determine the exact instructions. Agents should be prepared to
execute the banishment ritual and gather the supplies necessary for
it. If we require deployment, then we will notify agents through our
agency email server.
If the devil ever shows up in Baltimore, I'm your man. I got all the devil banishing stuff.
Great teamwork! That was one fast paced decryption Marathon
I just wish, i could have been of more help than just a line of code here and there but I'm right now surveying the local psychiatry for cases of demonic possession
Received notification of the initiation of mass decryption while at work and by the time I get home...it's done, excellent work!
Do we have any ideas on the parts of the letter that are obscured by those burn marks?
We have some ideas... first(horizontal) burn mark is probably 'mixture' or something like that. First word covered by the vertical burn is probably 'pressed' or 'crushed', second word covered is probably 'following'.
Separate names with a comma.
