So we begin our signal with a value between 535 - 1605, and when this hits the moon if the number is correct then as the wave comes back to us we observe a very small piece of the wave as having vanished. It literally no longer exists, or can be detected. If we are raising the value by the correct number and we start at the correct number then each wave hitting the moon loses another small piece, but at different points relative to the initial broadcast. So eventually after looping through 535 - 1605 a certain number of times a complete transmission will have vanished to go... somewhere... we don't know... The pieces missing are exactly the same size as the ones we are finding to create the audio in the clips. Very small parts of waves that suddenly appear and then vanish. So we believe that by replicating this process, we can send a similar transmission.
