So I've gotten to the point where I need a password for a document. I'm pretty confident I know what the initials stand for, but the clue is pretty bizarre. I've done some open-source searching for the answer (it seems like that's where the answer is to be found), and I haven't found any hint of the entity they're asking for. Anyone else gotten the answer yet?
Hey, If you look at the exact wording of the password hint; Spoiler: exact wording EM!'s other father (LAST NAME ONLY) you might want to revisit your idea regarding the meaning of the initials.
For me this hint dont given nothing. Second day at this moment, and dont understand what this hint mean. I think EM is Spoiler: EM Emmanuel Macron, but last name of his father it is wrong password
i know that EM its not Emanuel Macron it's Spoiler En Marche! but who second founder i dont know. Wiki is wrong info
In hindsight that makes sense, though it might have been better had that entity been mentioned previously. I'm familiar with it, but it's not mentioned earlier in the case, and the other EM is a reasonable conclusion. Didn't run across it in my open-source searching either, and I'm not sure I would have come up with it on my own (though that exact wording did send me on some searching for other entities). Still, Spoiler that entity is so centered on one person it's hard to find anything, even in their official literature, that might indicate more than one father.
That's an interesting interpretation--I interpreted that as Spoiler indicating emphasis, not case. In fact, I was wondering about case--I've been mostly using proper case, but on the more likely ones I used both proper case and lowercase.
Grey, you may not be talking about the same document. For the one they're talking about, you're given a web link to browse to outside of the game. I think you're talking about tryng to crack passwords within someone's computer.
With a follow-up hint Spoiler You don't always have to break the password. In one case, browsing to the folder demands a password. But using active directory bypasses the password requirement
Spent about ~5 hours on this mission now think im making it harder then it is... I'm @ Xkeyscore and trying to find a connection between invited guests, in order to find a doc I guess?!? Browsed thru wikipedia and all kind of politicians in france...any help or clue would be appriciated !
The mission briefing tells you the types of ministers to look for (bold text in mission briefing PDF). Spoiler Via google I found 2 that I could xkeyscore. There's a third you'll need to find (either trial and error, or better googling than I). that'll give you what you need.
Spoiler With the job types the mission document asks you to look for, you can cross out the majority of the list via the french government's official site. Keep in mind that not every guest is listed on the site. Also keep in mind that the president and PM have different teams.
