Mockulus Rift

    So I saw that Oculus Rift is on the roadmap. Since I don't like to wait for cool things if I don't have to, and I have a high tolerance for kludgy DIY stuff, I spent some time getting Ahnayro working in Google Cardboard. It ain't much, but I did eventually get it to work. Unsurprisingly, it fell a short of real 3D, and the mouse was a bit off, but the image did pan as I moved my head. If you want to try it yourself, all you need is a phone, the Cardboard app, a Cardboard Viewer, Trinus VR to stream your computer to your phone, and Vireio Perception (or something similar) to convert the image to side-by-side stereoscopic images. I don't know what apps to use for an iPhone, but I am sure there are equivalents.
