just wondering if anyone here has had experience/knowledge fixing this, downloaded, registered all ran fine, uninstalled nt4 02, and installed 03. now it will only start then ask for login details, entering only gives me incorrect username or password, tried to change password, but still wont work? any ideas
sorry for the late reply, that doesn't work, if I press cancel it refuses to do any "work" I emailed maltego and they reset password but said they activated my acc again, now heres the thing, still didn't work so made new email to try again and I noticed the acc only lasts for 3 days?
Can you be more specific as to what you mean by "it refuses to do any "work"" ? (maybe screenshots or more detailed description ?) At first, after pressing cancel I thought it did nothing, but the graph I opened was in a tab next to the "home" one, and everything worked fine =/
well basically it wont do any transformations, but I received a reply from maltego , aparantly you have to re activate your acc every 3 days.....just seems weird
Just checked, in fact, this is a normal thing. When you login via the program, you get assigned an API key that is valid for 3 days. The API key is used to call transformations and all that stuff, so when it expires, you cannot do these anymore. However, I tried logging in again when prompted, and I got a message saying I now have a new key valid until 02/19, so 3 days from now. In your case, the login failing would point to an issue with your account or on Maltego's end, which either way only them can do something about =/
