Hi Guys, I finally found time to play the closed beta and I like what you've done with the client. It has a decent atmosphere despite the sometimes "too much" feeling I get from sound effects or voice overs. I am using the steam version and didn't download the.. the.. the... can't find the word haha "patcher/loader"? Are you reelasing updates via steam as well or only via your patcher/loader? It consumes a lot of memory which is quite inconvenient and considering what the game actually does, but I think you are going to polish / improve the performance anyway, so I leave that part out except for this: 16G RAM, SSD, i7 2Ghz - and when I tab out to write a forum post, every keystroke takes 0.5s delay to appear on the screen. Considering that at first sight the game is a GUI with a terminal emulation/text adventure it seems excessive in performance requirements (1GB RAM, 60% CPU is fine - I assume it's the graphics). Selecting a terminal/notepad is only possible by clicking on the window title. Ideally the whole window part that is not being covered allows selection. Just for convenience and ease of use. Also: firewall ban warning disappeared so remaining time was not identifiable. Progress is lost after re-login The document reader is unnecessary small. A simple standard PDF page should be visible. Or, potentially consider to remove the feature entirely to consistently enforce viewing downloaded content outside of the game? (Iirc The alpha was like that or Black Watchmen, which I actually liked as it allows you to focus on the core loop rather than splitting resources to imitate well known apps like acrobat/foxit/preview and notepad) If apps are desired inside the game: Notepad clears itself seemingly randomly when changing windows. a built-in web browser would be neat Thank you for the time and patience to read this. Obviously these are my impressions and I do not intend to step on anyones toes. I hope it is considered appropriate feedback.
