Glad to introduce: Tyryt, Santiak and Vismal. If you are Golden Member, we will have the first scene from the Storyboard posted shortly.
Tyryt has his own twisted values coming from a hard childhood, but he is by far the character with the most integrity when it comes to protecting his friends and respecting the chain of command. His only problem is a 'serious' anger issue, which sometimes adversely affects the outcome of a mission, especially when discretion is a priority, or when interrogation is involved. He also has and addiction to size when its time to talk about weaponry and anything related to the armory.
Santiak is a strong leader of few words. He has a high level of reflection and meticulousness in regards to deploying troops into the field. You could argue that it's either an extremely lethal and advanced tactical combat mindset, or a manifestation of a high desire to protection those under his command. Whatever the success of a mission, he dislikes praise, and will often cut short any unnecessary talk. Santiak is the first character introduce along with Vismal. They both try to figure out their shared memories of a past that seems to have vanished. Santiaks theories lean toward that of a rewritten timeline - or a parallel universe - where things aren’t what they should be. With no physical proof, Santiak decides to search for others who share these memories, and are looking toward the only physical remnant from this remembered past: the actual Black Watchmen.
Vismal is a skilled cybertech and hacker who is obsessed with investigating and getting into the deepest recesses of the web. He has yet to discover his potential in a combat unit, much like Neo in the Matrix, before he realized his full potential. Vismal has a short cameo in issue #1 as the friend of Santiak. They both argue about what the fragmented memory of The Black Watchmen means, and whether or not there are more people who share the same memories of the Situation Room, the Gate 33, Agent Astrid, and all the missions both Vismal and Santiak remember having done, but with no evidence as to it ever happening, aside from underground websites and buried stories in obscure web forums. Vismals theories lean towards that of planted memories, corporate experimentation and other conspiracy theories regarding a past, that may or may not have existed, but either way is not completly wiped from the consciousness of the general public.
I think Tyryt needs a bigger gun, my might have some arm left after firing it Loving all the looks though, especially the cyberpunky Vismal. He should start dressing like that.
A nice job. If I wasn't envious before (and you know I was ) I'm certainly am now! My hat goes off to the artist.
The Chosen One is already part of The Black Watchmen. Trough Issue #1 we learn that he is the right-hand man of Captain William Patrick, and that he is responsible for administering the Psych Exam to new recruits. TCO is a man of patience, who digs deeper than anyone else, in order to get to the bottom of things. His allegiance to the Black Watchmen cannot be challenged, and he acts as a confidant and adviser to Captain W. Patrick. You can expect more development around this mysterious character, halfway on the fence between NPC and Player.
BATS is a strong Bipolar Type 1 Personality Disorder. With a generally overwhelming happy mood, she will quickly turn shy in front of a group of strong characters, yet it is beyond her capacity to not talk. In fact, the more manic she becomes, the more she will keep talking, observing, commenting and criticizing on everything that is happening, regardless of whether or not there's still an audience left or not. Behind this deceiving façade hides a second, extremely strong personality that has joined The Black Watchmen, and is rising quite rapidly up through the ranks of the organization. Her uncontrollable over-analyzing mindset is, in fact, an incredible logic, with clockwork lethal precision in solo missions.
