if you're decoding it online, you might want to remove the dots, dashes and numbers from the text, and insert them again after decrypting

but I got a message saying "This page doesn't exist and/or is removed...

EDIT Silly me, didn't see it was supposed to be adjusted using another element, but still stuck

Hi guys, I'm really stuck on string 2. It seems that

in the document X Marks The Spot, the third chunk of numbers seem octal to me based on the cypher guide. However, after getting errors all the time, I saw that octal is mostly written in an xxx xxx xxx format rather than an xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx xxxxxxxx format. I tried converting 'Hello' to octal and it doesn't show the same octal number as in the guide.

Someone willing to help me out on this?

i dont think you got to worry about the format
if you put it in a convertor it works pretty much

 

I only get plain gibberish if I put it in a converter... No idea why and I've tried several :/

 

really? the one dylanamite put in the manual works fine?
