Hello fellow Agents. Agent Dylanamite here.

Now it’s not a big secret that during your time with The Black Watchmen you’re going to need to be cracking a few codes and decrypting several ciphers.

I’ve assembled a training program where you’ll be faced with many different codes, ciphers and puzzles.

The program is split into five chains, which will be released weekly (heh.) from the time you’re seeing this. You can find the chains here:

    01100010 01101001 01110100 01100100 01101111 01110100 01100100 01101111 01110011 01101100 01100001 01110011 01101000 01101100 01100101 01110100 01110011 01100010 01100101 01100111 01101001 01101110

    Good luck on your training!

    - The words are hints to which code/cipher you need to use.

    Hints from Agent Lyrah

-Use the tools posted in the Agent Toolbox thread

Most of the clues will utilize this.

    Notice the Google Doc title.

I see dead pe... Wait, no, those are just familiar shapes.

If you hit a dead end, turn around

tough cipher, does it look like something you've seen before?
See how some words are already in english? Maybe its not the whole sentence that's a encrypted one way.

-There's no cipher involved here, you don't need to change any letters (yet).

-Notice how many characters are in each "block"

-A shape is important here (in both parts of the puzzle)

    - Don't forget the "Codes and Ciphers Training" guides (see above)

-Once you've decoded them all, you might be able to make a connection.

-Certain Agents of The Black Watchmen may recognise these quotes.

-I've given a clue as to what the code needed is.

-Don't forget the additional capitals and numbers in the link.

Alright... I got to here with the word Farmer. I've figured out its a diagrammatic cipher but I'm stuck from that.

I've gotten to the same Imgur picture, and tried solving the code. The two words I've found so far is "Farmer" and "Chemist". However, the two phrases linking onwards (to the specified URL) seems to get me nowhere, and tells me the "information has been removed". I think I'm missing something; but can't figure out what!

trying to solve numbers on pastebin... page. Still nothing :)
Do not know for what we get words. I thought Chemist is a clue to solve numbers, but firsts letters of element by position nubmer did not work.

I've received confirmation that several agents have now found the first codeword. Congratulations, you're on your way to finding the final location.

    Okay Agents,
Chain 2 is up and ready to go! You can find it in the same place you found Chain 1.
This one is longer and requires more skill to complete. Be sure to collaborate with your fellow agents if you feel the need to!
    As always, good luck.

The 6th one is a direct message from me. Not a quote.
It's a note from me as the maker to you as the solver.
Basically Q is an awkward letter to work with!

    Evening Agents,
I've had some of you telling me that you're having difficulty solving a few of the ciphers in the recent chain.
Because of this, I've started to put together a Handbook which will help you in locating a cipher and decrypting it.
I've uploaded the first five pages, which focus on the various types of ROT and the Base codes.
These will help you during your training course, so I advise you read them carefully.

    Good luck.

The words he gives before each clue have to do with how to solve the cipher.
Farmer in this case refers to the cipher name (also known as the masonic cipher).

i hope i'm in one step ) need to know which point is false :((
i think i had to draw two lines
    Alagoinhas - Port-aux-Français
    Yangambi - Meuse (France)
but they didn't cross each other.
