wow, just started the dr ripper mission, cant find a file on localhost to open? just countries? anyway, like how the game has ref in the folders and with lightman, being based in Salisbury, the novichok ref in the files, very good and intriguing. if possible do you intend to keep things like this up on real world problems?
once you open the countries you can click on the files in the countries to open another folder with more info (some countries have no files but some do) an example is china has a lot of files if you keep clicking through the folders once you find a file you want double click on it to "prep" it as it were to sync.
You have to make sure the file you select is one that Dr. Ripper is actually looking for, or else it won't sync to Cryptnet. And yes! A big part of our games is the "close to home" feeling. We really love integrating current events and topics of discussion into the storyline.
thanks codex, its just done it, for some reason its almost like some things are lagging behind, cant click like the rotation bar on the hivemind screen, no files available/unlock, clicking on them not working, leave for a while and its ok...weird, just noticed the Russian/election stuff too...very cool
The hiveminds are going to be a little buggy until we're able to rework them, but an overhaul is planned for them.
+1 for the rotation bar hivemind bug. Leaving it doesnt seem to work for me, have to close NT4 for it to work again.
I got to China folder, double clicked the appropriate file, but now I'm stuck - can't figure out how to complete a transaction on cryptnet. Way cool all intelligence agencies, novichok and stuff (like darknight said). Thanks!
