  1. codex-13

    codex-13 Senior Agent

    Archives Curator.........Tanton
Responsible for the contents of the entire Archives. This includes oversight of any ongoing research or testing, ensuring that all department heads keep clear records, and awareness of any possible conflicts of interest in the Archives. Primarily an administrative job, most in this position also engage in passion projects as time permits.

    Digital Research.........Meadows
Responsible for acquiring and storing data related to Division 88 operations. Includes periodic OSINT cataloging on critical topics. Works very closely with Division 88 and the entirety of NITE Team 4.
    DATA LOADING...

    Occult Research..........Cerberus
Responsible for analysis and archival of all occult research related documentation and reports. Minor research projects are also occasionally undertaken by this branch, but large-scale research endeavors are largely left to Division 79 personnel.
    DATA LOADING...

    Biological Research......Greenacre
Responsible for analysis and archival of all biological research related documentation and reports. Minor research projects are also occasionally undertaken by this branch, but large-scale research endeavors are largely left to Division 79 personnel.
    DATA LOADING...

    Circulation..............Wheeler
The "front desk" of the Archives. Responsible for running documents and data between branch locations, as well as interfacing with the Agency at large. The Circulation desk is the one location in the Archives most Agents will have clearance to access.
    DATA LOADING...

    Data Recovery............Junebug/Nero
Responsible for recovering data from affected Archivists in the event of data loss in the Archives, or as part of an incident investigation. Data recovery is incredibly unpleasant, however it is the only reason that ordinary people are still involved in the Archiving process. While a wholly automated Archives would be efficient, if an error were to occur then there would be very few ways of recovering the lost data. Archivists are trained to have specific reactions to various stimuli that allows Data Recovery to recover data that would otherwise be lost in a major incident.

// My plan is to clarify each of these Archive Branches in purpose and direction by editing this main post. Obviously if a character wouldn't know about something, the fact it was posted here doesn't change that ;)
