    Argh. 5.2.3:

So like many others on 5.2.3, I have a word, but deriving the final password from it is driving me up the wall. I've dug through the 5B7F20 archive, and not found anything that felt relevant beyond "evolution". I've tried looking back at the prior nodes, I've tried things like kurzweil and bostrum, I'm just turning in circles!

    Thanks again as always :)

Here's an additional hint for finding the password:
Look closely at the suspicious file names for a date

We've updated revision 7 with an additional dataset that was recently recovered, and appended it to the results.py file. Perhaps you will find it helpful in deciphering the last locked file!

Pay attention to your CPU usage %. It will help you count. Also remember there are no spaces between words when entering passwords.

Congrats! I think I also got the correct dice rolls, but can't figure out the password. Could you give me a hint?
I went with the 6 smaller numbers of the dice rolls, and also the bigger ones. I also tried to correlate these numbers with the names of the 5-digit archive files like C1MK1 of mission 6. to RZIZP of mission 1. Didn't work as password. Also tried to use the 6 digits/ciphers of this correlation in the Black Watchmen Archive. Is one of these methods correct and I huts have to check for different dice rolls?"

the entire roll is important to the solution, you are on the right path to finding what you need. Try reviewing the documents provided in our mission, how to decipher the password is in there you just have to look.

(its R2IZP-v1.2.3, not RZIZP-v1.2.3 :p not that it would matter anyway)

Can get some help with 5.2.3?

I think I have the secret word, but I don't know what to do with it. I also saw that I should use it with a date in the file names, but I don't really see a date there...

This hint isn't really helping me. I've tried a bunch of solutions and nothing works. Can anyone give a more descriptive hint for 9NUES-V0.2.2? Thanks!

@Adam The Chespin i have no idea how to explain it any more subtle than this
    think of bookciphers

Hi! I know most people have moved on from this, but I figured I'd post anyway.

So, I've been given hints from several people on discord, and I'm still stuck (not their fault, they tried their best to help me!).

    What I know so far:
    - every 2nd trait is a fake trait
    - journal 17 is not part of the puzzle
    - the %'s need to be simplified since double digits are too much
    - the solution is apparently similar to a basic book cipher?
    - essentially, I know something has to be done with the %'s, and I've not been able to catch on despite all the help

    What I've tried:
    - a bunch of complicated things involving ascii and other math (I'm told that's too much)
    - breaking the %s into single digits and making pairs from the fake traits and real traits
    - in the above I also tried adding/subtracting the "adjustments" from the other file
    - I then tried to use these pairs as a (row, col) on the traits list

    Help requested:
At this point, I'm tempted to just ask for the solution, but instead, would one of you be able to give me a more direct hint about what to do with the %s?

    Thanks!

    Hint 1
Right, there are traits that included in theory and excluded, so take a better look at each of the group.
    Hint 2
One of the group looks more... accurate.
    Hint 3
Probably because you can't count "nothing".
    Hint 4
You already know it needs to be simplified, it's time to do it.
