I joined on the IRC channel 4 times now. I was very polite, but getting ignored is not my idea of collaboration. 60 plus people were on the IRC channel at the times I was on too. For me it was no help at all, but that is my opinion. I put this post on here for people who don't like the IRC option. Myself and 2 other agents used steam instant message to complete mission 11. Why did I use Steams chat? 1 answer there is a bug if you use collaborate chat in game and have a answer/solution page open, When you hit enter to send your chat it trys to solve the puzzle over and over when you just are hitting enter to send your chat in-game.
I chat from the mission hub, history, sitroom, agent map or the sphere mission. This way i never have this issue.
Well don't judge the IRC channel to harshly. IRC is easy to just have sitting in the background and not be actively engaging in it. (*looks guiltily about*) I know they had/have been using different channels for each specific mission to keep potential spoilers and cross-talk low in the main channel. #mission7, #mission8, etc. In any case, nothing wrong with finding a way to collaborate that works for you either.
And that's what I did, this way was extremely effective with the agent I was working with VIA steam. I am not trying to put this game down in any way. In fact I love this game , and have talked with staff about how much I love it VIA conversation chat in TBW webpage. I was just throwing this out there for like minded people as well as others looking to play different games, while we wait for new mission to come out and the Live events. No offense to any Black watchmen player or staff. out of thousands of games I have played, this one has peaked my interest 100 times more than any other released in the last few years.* ( and I am talking AAA titles. ) Keep up the good work "Alice & Smith" This game beats the hell out of any AAA title released right now.
