Do we need to resign up for anything before the ARGs get rolling? I signed up durring the kickstarter with my email and phone number with the mid-level selection of immersion. Also, is there a way to change this information after the fact? I.e. I get a new phone or want to change my level of immersion to go deeper into the rabbit hole? (I do)
The previous fundraiser on MMORPG.com failed, so anything you might have signed up for back then using the MMORPG.com forum account, is likely not applicable this time around. The new fundraiser will be starting on Kickstarter soon™, and the sign-up process will not be connected with the old MMORPG.com, so no need to worry about the old account. Once the new Kickstarter fundraiser starts, I imagine we all get a fresh opportunity to sign up for whatever might be available, as some aspects of the gamification part of the ARG might also have changed. As for changing information after opting in, I imagine that if such information is relevant to our experience, we will be able to modify it - so transfer App data from one phone to a new one, or applying for a change in our clearence level, if finals are coming up and one would appreciate not being abducted the next couple of months - but agian, that depends on what manifestation TBW takes in the coming Kickstarter fundraiser.
We will send a closing email to all member who sign-up to the old campaign. We will open a new sign up system with the kickstarter campaign. It will be simpler as your character level (Red, Orange, Yellow), contact preference and other setting related to how the game interact with you will be handle in-game for now on, and Mailchimp will only store your email preference. (More logical that way)
