So I've just received my first call from TBW asking me to verify my phone number by sending an email with an code in it. Only problem is that the email address provided in the call doesn't actually work, I just instantly got the "email failed" message. Is this a puzzle I'm supposed to figure out or an actual problem?
Aye, it's a bit of an issue mainly due to the wording, I imagine. I imagine you might be attempting to send it to @division66.com? The actual domain you need to send it to is @division-66.com
Yeah. Phone call said division hyphen 66 dot com. Had to play it a dozen times to realize this...grml...
How long after you put the number in did you get the phone call? I want to put my number in but I want to be sure that I get the call whilst I am out (don't get ANY reception at my place).
If you pick up I believe it counts as the phone number being confirmed. If you fail to pick up, they leave a message with a verification code you need to send in - basically so they know they didn't phone some poor elderly couple and scare them half to death.
I have a similar problem. I got my phone call today, emailed to confirm and am getting an email failure notice. The email address given to me in the message was [email protected]. I've listened to the message about 15 times and am sure this is what was said, but it's not working.
Thanks. I listened to the message again and it doesn't sound like "info" to me, but I sent it there anyways. Maybe all the heavy metal has finally killed my hearing.
