Seeking study guide for the major alchemy grand exam! Not looking for cliff notes but between the cover job and agency work, sorting through what is and isn't alchemy is taking more time than I'd like. ~MF
Have you looked into the mental alchemy of the Hermetic school? That's where most of my expertise lies, so I hope dispatch is satisfied with their take on things! Physical alchemy has never been my strong suit.

If you still need to practice transmutation, I'd check first to make sure your lead samples are pure. Some of the older rites on the study guide are more general use, and WILL affect most metals. In related news, I found the one that turns even trace amounts of copper into polonium. I wouldn't advise repeating this mistake.
Answer key is kept on the instructor's personal computer, unencrypted, and only protected by three or so guard dogs. Easy exam.

Honestly, just try to study up on both mental and physical alchemical formulae. The test is...well...a bit hard, but I'm sure a capable field agent such as yourself will be able to achieve it @Maurna. Alchemy was always an interest of mine, so I was able to get through it without much fault. They do give bonus points for knowing something about ethereal alchemy. Binding souls to objects, whether they be suits of armor, like in FMA, or other...more portable things, can be incredibly useful. especially once you can tap the ethereal energy to use as a transmutable substance.
