Hi, I just got the latest update and noticed the new intro (AWESOME btw). However, I noticed that the Agent Map and the Situation room were locked for me, any idea why this is happening? Thanks

There's an achievement added in for "Unlock the Sit Room/Map" so I assume it's intentional. I just hope that its unlocked during/after the tutorial or else no CFH!

CFH? What does that mean? I also noticed that the classes are unlocked by doing missions, looking forward to seeing what missions unlock what classes, I will definitely aim for the cybertech unlock (unless they unlock as part of the story).

I like the tips on first login!

I also noticed that missions 4 and 5 are now switched. I didn’t think of it before, but the Resupply mission does seem to be a better topic for a first real mission following the training ones. I thought the previous mission 4 (now 5) was just too easy. The new part you added to it helps in that respect, and it ties the mission in more to the story. It is still not very difficult, but it is a good exercise for the kind of research skills that will be needed in part 1 of mission 6, so it is also a good segue into that mission.

One small weird thing occurred for me due to replaying missions multiple times and out of order. I had both mission 6 and the new mission 5 in progress when I logged on. When I completed mission 5, then mission 6 was locked for me. I couldn’t resume it or replay it. I went to the dashboard and then back to mission history and was then able to resume it, so I guess it just needed a screen refresh.

Yes, the lock are intentional, but not yet ready to test. I'll give you an update as soon as it's ready to test! :)

Ok, was just checking, also I was wondering, how does the client know which achievements are unlocked? Are they kept separately to the steam ones or does it just check the steam account? Because if it checks the account then people may still "forge" the greenlight operative and backer achievements without really earning them if they know the game ID. Will see how the client reacts once I get the new update.

EDIT 1: ok, the client does show achievements that have been "forged" as being unlocked, will see if locking them changes the client's response, I am also going to test whether or not the "unlock" achievements unlock the features before you are meant to have them or not next

EDIT 2: I just tested the other achievements and unlocking them DOES unlock the actual features, I could actually go to the agent map (did not since it might crash the game, was only testing the achievements). It would be wise to contact the devs behind Killing Floor or another game that has locked their achievements (if that works any more) to see how they did it so you can do the same.

EDIT 3: tried the class achievements, could change classes to any of the 4 ones there, I also tested the agent map and it worked like a charm. Pathfinder does nothing (which is a plus, no spoilers).

RE the agent map: We didn't test it much with the small advance group. I'm liking it quite a lot, helping people more individually with finesse, compared to IRC. It is fun giving just enough of a hint to ease the frustration but still letting the other agent work for the solution.

Yeah, I do the same, I really like that more private way of helping people. Got the feeling of small D&D group.
