Heyho folks, Been thinking that, since the thread for AMA questions went up a bit late last time, and some people didn't have time to add theirs to the list before the AMA, it might be a boon to establish one before hand. If nothing else, then the thread can also serve to highlight what we as a community are wondering about as things progress, and at best, give our dear Puppet Masters a heap of questions to pick and choose from for when the next AMA does come about. So, feel free to add them in. Note: No date for the next AMA has been announced, this is merely to give everyone the opportunity to add/share their questions.
I guess I'll start: How will yellow and green clearance interact with our cover lives/jobs? I think it's been discussed a little bit before, but I'd really like to hear specifics as green application consideration nears. Comic book planned for before or after launch of S1? or I guess corresponding with? Which puppetmaster would win in a fight?
I've tried to sum up some of the questions I've seen floating about recently: There's been a lot of talk about what Green Clearence level entails, for example: To what extent does physical ability limit participation? If we draw a parallel to X-men; could an Agent be Green Level both in the sense of being a proverbial "Wolverine" as well as "Professor X"? Beyond wanting to apply - what is the main consideration I should be taking into account when I contemplate whether or not to apply - time, availability, confidence, physical or mental ability, or something else entirely? If I do not reach Green clearence, will there still be "Real-life" missions for me? What would be the difference between a "real-life" mission aimed at a Yellow and Green level Agent, respectively? The tests listed in the application form, are they actual tests? Will it only be applicants who take these, or are they open for all Agents to (pre-emptively) take, for example in preparation for next seasons "draft"? ... *knocks on wood* How would we go about changing clearence levels? For example; say I know now that, in X amount of time, I'll be unavailable for Y amount of time - or would just rather not be phoned in that period of time - should I just change my clearence level setting before then? Will there be any drawbacks or "punishment" if I switch back and forth between clearence levels? (there's an achievement! X amount of time as Clearence A/B/C or above) (Related to Nikel's question #1 above) I'd really like to participate at X clearence level, but there are aspects about my personal life that I'm worried it'll clash with (freaking out family, interrupting what not) - would it then be a bad idea for me to opt for X clearence level, or could we perhaps figure out a way that would allow me to participate at X clearence, without worrying friends or family freaking out? For example, opting for receiving packages, but not phonecalls? I live in an area with almost no other Agents // alot of other Agents, how much does this affect the chances of a live-event taking place near me? (I know this has been somewhat answered before, but thought it might be good with a refresh, considering all the lovely new folks that've joined us between then and now ). Any news on what kind of (steam) Achievements there'll be in the client? (hopefully, some of them are hidden) Any news on what stats we'll be able to see about our own performance? What are your thoughts about avoiding making those stats too "stat-whorable", i.e. players focusing only on having good stats, rather than actively participating in solving missions? Did you read my entire rant? (hrhr - sorry about yet another one.) Think that's all I can think of at the moment. Will post again if anything else crosses my mind. 1) What is the latest one should invest in what is currently up in the shop? 2) Puppet Masters: Personal Opinions on anime as a whole? 3) As a young'un, with another such person in tow with me working on this stuff, what can we expect in terms of age-restriction when it comes to missions? Things that only people, like, about 18 or above 21 could be involved in.
Will you localize the game in other language than english ? French, for example ? I didn't read anything about any localization
As requested: Around how many agents will be promoted to green this round, and also how many will have green clearance at the same time?
Here's another: Suppose someone purchased the year subscription + access to Season one pack off of the store, but did it under another name/email. For example, if it was a gift to someone. Since emails will go to their email, is there any way of changing the registration? Or if they're already registered in the beta, will it just be a code they receive to access Season 1/The Subscription?
