Browser Version?

    Hi,

I'm quite new and I was wondering if there are any plans on making TBW browser accessible (like a HTML5 version)?

I am enjoying TBW, but as I travel quite a bit I have a Chromebook (because of its lightweight). There are PC and Mac versions of TBW for the moment, because its a program on itself, but as the game seems to be mostly clues available on the web and mission videos leading to a code/keyword entry for now, would it be possible or is it planned to create a browser version to do missions "on-the-go"?

(I am not in IT, so please forgive me if this is technically challenging or impossible. I am also aware that a Chromebook is not a gaming device, but as TBW is ARG it seems to me immersion would be higher when able to do missions on the move or on any device rather than a gaming rig at home. This is just my opinion, however)

@Anashel has allowed me to do this much, so far: http://client.agentcatalyst.net/
It's only the situation room, however, because I'm not able to handle log-ins. As far as a statement on an official web client, that's best answered by Anashel.

Yes we plan to have a Browser Version to be release after the Steam edition, no date are set yet. It could be a companion app, a lighter version of the mission hub or the full game running in the unity browser plug-in. I'll give you more details as soon as we have finish the stand alone edition and attack the browser part.

I also agree with you that a TBW edition on a Chromebook could be really cool. Instead of a browser edition, we could do a Google Play / AppStore version also since Unity is able to compile in various format.

Thank you Anashel and Catalyst for your answers!

That is excellent news, can't wait to see!

Also, I am really enjoying the fact that TBW community (including staff) is so responsive, helpful and very creative. Love it.
