http://dossier.agentcatalyst.net/division66/incident_reports/01_rupture/patient_files.pdf the link is a compilation of pysic reference forms from (http://forums.blackwatchmen.com/index.php?members/catalyst.203/) some swift googling reveles http://www.douglas.qc.ca/ a website for a mental health institution by the same name and stationary. the trouble is the website looks very established and entitlement. a Google earth trip to the given address gives a very large and established institute making me thing that the website and institute are NOT an aspect of the game. am i being fooled by good webdesign or are the two not related?
The interesting thing about Alternate Reality Games, which is what TBW is, is that the lines between the game and real life are blurred. You'll find that the clinic we're investigating, the Rosenberg Clinic, has an address in Royal Victoria Hospital. The Royal Victoria Hospital has a physical location in the world, while the Rosenberg Clinic does not. The Douglas Mental Health Institute is similar in that sense, it's a completely 'real' hospital outside of the game, but if you go in and ask for Dr. David Lemarche, the receptionist won't be able to help you. Just because something exists outside of the game does not mean that it's not important. Hope this answers your question.
Understood. In past games Played the website tied to and artifact often servers as a useful tool providing names, contacts or another step in the puzzle. was curious If the stationary on the forms is simply there to provide authenticity to the game. or if the association with the Intuition ended there or went deeper and bears additional exploration or am I simply chasing phantoms. thanks for the help still getting my bearings on the game.
