My 3 favorites are DTG's, Santiak's and Martin's. I really preferred the version of Kyoko's without the skull on the front, that would have been my number 1 favorite, I think! Really I'm pretty happy with all of them.

Ach, blasted uni. Had some plans for doing a stone engraving or some finger paiting and using it as a watermarked symbol for the back, but I doubt I'll make it back in time. Oh well, not that it would have been of any consequence anyway - some truly awesome entries there.
I suspect this was a Gold Member project and now the rest of us get to help choose. It would perhaps help us to know (generally) what the content will be. A grimoire of death magicks should have a cover different from a grimoire of fertility magicks, or maybe this is a modern-day grimoire of hacking, cryptography and information magicks. I think all of them are very nice.
It wasn't Gold Member secrets, actually. Anashel came on the IRC 2 nights ago and posted it. I don't really know why nothing was posted here... But guess that's in the past now. As for the contents, this is the cover/back for the Black Watchmen Almanac that is part of pledges $25 and above. When it changed from an almanac to a grimoire I have no idea. It was always going to be full of secrets though.

Ah, chibimerrick would have loved to try her hand on that project I bet. Aside from that though, there's some pretty good entries. I cast my vote. I gave more points to the simpler/real-feel ones I felt were more functional than their super cool counterparts (was thinking what would Vismal use in the field himself...)
*shakes fist at car-ride home* Did a few last minute alterations, but opted not to enter it in the contest. Wouldn't feel fair considering the opinions everyone's voiced (which happen to align with what I had originally intended, my final entry being a compromise). That and there are entries far better than anything I could come up with already. ^^ So just for schnitzels: Spoiler Quite rushed, had some ideas floating about when I got home 40 minutes ago, and was finished with these 20 mins ago, so not that polished. ---
Ah, I wish things were announced here if they weren't Gold Member only, because I know a good chunk of great artists who would have been happy to participate in this, but neither them nor I knew about this in time since we don't lurk IRC much. Keeping tabs on an IRC to be updated on information is a bit inconvenient. Aside from that, these all look awesome! Edit: Inconvenient was autocorrected for some reason.
@Vomher Well, too clarify it's not exactly how it happens. We started a contest on Freelancer.com and then after we got enough entries, we did a poll so people could vote on the one they like the best. We posted the poll on IRC and in the forums, at that point some players started to opt-in to freelancer and submit their proposal. And it's cool, next time we will invite everyone at the same time, not just to vote but to join the contest.
