Clipboard wont copy/paste in ubuntu

Operating System: Ubuntu 17.10
Version of the game (found on left bottom corner): Not shown (latest?)
When it has begun: First time playing
What have i done before contacting forums: played
How/when does the issue happen (easy for duplication/troubleshoot): always

 

Sorry if I'm asking a stupid question, but have you tried the "ubuntu" way of pasting - just selecting the text and then pressing mouse wheel to paste?

 

In the game you cannot highlight text so no that would not work.

 

is this for The Black Watchmen or NITE Team 4? It sounds like you're playing NITE Team 4, which has always had some minor quirks in regards to copy/paste.

There's a specific button in the Black Watchmen client for copying to your clipboard, is that button not working? As for pasting into the client, I'm not sure why that wouldn't work.. Are you sure you don't have a client version listed? It's usually visible...

 

The button seems to be not working, and no it does not show a version number.

 

I'll make a note of it, though the Linux client has been unstable for a while now and isn't officially supported as far as I'm aware.
