I am a player from china so I know my connections to the game server is poor. However i can successfully login every time.Although pretty slow, the mission hub, all the audio, video, pictures can be correctly loaded.With that I managed to complete a few missions so I know I can receive data from your game server. But most of the times when I login, and a pyramid icon pops up and seconds later the mission hub appears, then another pyramid pops up and the loading takes literally forever, with that I can't do anything anymore. I tried Shadowsocks with a Japanese server, but it didn't help at all(I can't even login this time).
It might be due the great (fire)wall of china. You are not alone with this issue. I would recommend putting the buffer settings in Settings to 25% If that helps, you will get option to skip the video in which case you can get all of the Season 1 videos from a server in China. I have heard that has helped few players with connection issues to the main servers
