Following the 'Ragnar' experience, it made me think: what would be a public person you would love to see involved in the opening mission? It can be an actor, a writer, anyone. How to format your answer: //* Name of the public person: Type: Actor, Writer, Politician, etc... Her/His twitter account: @... Do you have any link with that person: Do you have anything we could use to blackmail that person: Comments: *// If you DON'T think it's a good idea, just go straight to the vote and say No.
Voted yes, and while I have no relationship with, not to mention dirt on, any public figure that I'd imagine would be interested, I do have a suggestion. Already tried poking him about it, but hopefully Div66 will have more luck : Name: Dara O'Briain Type: Stand-up comedian, science-nut, gamer Twitter: @daraobriain Link: None - sadly - would love to get to know the guy. Blackmail potential: His aversion from the "less serious" games.. and crouching. But his love for the dramatic.. (Snaaaake!): His interpretation of games as an art-form:
-Name: David William Duchovny (FBI special agent Fox Mulder) -Type: Comedian (Believer) -Twitter: @davidduchovny -Link: None -Blackmail potential: Still wanting to participate in a movie sequel of X-Files -Name: Gillian Anderson (FBI special agent Dana Scully) -Type: Comedian (Non-believer) -Twitter: @GillianA -Link: None -Blackmail potential: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/Buo8OOyIUAAfoe_.jpg -Name: John Noble (professor Walter Bishop) -Type: Comedian (Mad scientist) -Twitter: @johnnob58004412 (to confirm) -Link: none -Blackmail potential: Red licorice seems to be among his most favorite of foods, though he also has a penchant for custard, root beer floats, and pastries.
As long as you don't become part of Prism I think any public person of a government agency would be a good call. That said, I'd be jelly if you could get Julian Assange or Edward Snowden sadly I deem this impossible.
I think getting someone "famous" involved would be great, but I honestly don't know anyone who fits the game and is also accessible / likely to accept at the moment. That would really fit the game though.
How about Putin? Maybe he could play Gladys' wacky new intern who has an unrequited (and unhealthy) infatuation with Alpha. Maybe we could blackmail him over that thing he has for bears? That would be fantastic. Probably unlikely, but, hey, it's not like Assange has much of a life - he just sits around the hous... err.. embassy all day... and Snowden doesn't even have a real job now. They should have plenty of free time, right? -Bats (and intelligence analysts are big on game theory, which is sorta like being a gamer. err... theoretically?)
Kek, you never fail to make me smile. That said, I think Julian is out of the question, Edward however is doing tons of lectures lately and also "casual" talks. He might actually be up for it, it'd give him a change of mind for a bit. I'll see what I can do whenever he's speaking again.
