So I found out whats wrong. a couple of the stitchings have been....dissolved. like semi-magically. what are you working on?
wait, some of these are straight up burned out. maybe try restitching them? I can get some tools down here, but im not sure how long they'll last

Im the closest thing Micro-C has to a security guard, I get hit by a lot of things. I don't *belive* I was hit by anything magical recently, but you know, experiments with semi understood power...
I can restich pretty easily if it comes down to it.

Is it still wrestling if I get tackled and make a way out?

Zaelong, be careful in B4-32 some of the coagulated blood has emulated the shape of scarabs, must have something to do with the Egyptian artifacts brought to the lab the day things went, well, sideways. I managed to collect a few hundred of the blood scarabs, a few at a time are nothing, but the lot managed to devour the reanimated werewolf spine and nervous system I was trying to store for you. As far as the various other samples, they seem to be guarding the artifacts in the lab I was using. Not sure what their plans are but they have rewired a lot of the lab equipment to be not so human friendly, those electric burns hurt. So ya, it took me a while, and ya I nursed my wounds. And ya, we need to do something about the undead situation downstairs.

castilion, go ahead and restitch. make sure your energy is ready for transfer as well. that should help stave off the destruction of the wards

madhuman, there's a whole bunch of them in a freezer, my team helped corral and seal them in there

Hello Agents Zaelong, Castillion, Grim-Angel53, themadhuman, et al.

I've compiled a list of ongoing experiments that I was able to attribute to Microbiology Lab C while it was under the direction of Agent MidDipper. I also have requested the archives send copies of all completed reports on laboratory experiments that were submitted in her name or under the umbrella of Microbiology Lab C while she was the head researcher there. This information will of course not be exhaustive, but as many of the agents who are now taking over the lab have not worked in this lab for the duration these documents cover, it should prove useful. You can find these documents in the laboratory's shared directory, on your terminals. As always, you can reach me by e-mail or telephone. I'll be passing along any posted mail addressed to the lab to you from now on, Zaelong.

Best of luck with the blood scarabs,

Thank you miss Dyer, these documents are very helpfull for me. espicially since i'm still finding out what projects are officially being worked on and in what phase they are.
i never expected we had this many running projects, especially since we dont have that many researchers right now.

on another note; @Grim-Angel53 could you tell me more about this "arcane incident" that happened? it might have been before i got here, but i dont recall such an event happening...

considering the residual amount of energy from...what I suspect is a charging spell...one of your researchers might be charging people to keep them working. and not needing sleep.
I suggest putting up a ward to prevent those spells being used on people, should more magic work be needed, within the office space. speed and energy can get a little addictive.

are you sure about those readings? if theres still residual energy from such a spell it would have to have been put there recently. and i havent noticed a thing, since i got plenty of sleep these weeks.
who needs more sleep than 8 hours a week anyway?
never mind putting up more wards in here, things will work out just fine.

    "announcement for all micro-c personal:
as of now, no one is authorized to put up any kind of wards inside these lab, unless they have required special permission to do so.
this permission can only be granted by the 'head-researcher' of micro-C; i will evaluated the necesity of said ward and assess its safety inside these labs.
this goes for all kinds of wards, runes, sigils, glyphs, etc.
    thank you for your time."

you're clearly trying to up productivity right? just be careful and make sure they get some sleep. I recommend about 12 hours every 36-48 hours. the speed will eventually detriment them and quite probably eventually make them kind of just....vibrate out of existence. couple of interns tried it out and uh...we couldn't find them. They're gone. We had a local radio host let them know during his show, and we haven't seen any complaints yet.
    *in actual speech*
If you need any help to...control...that issue, just ping the Arcane R&D, and we'll send someone to help. I have a project to go work on that involves spatial distortion, some doorframes, and a plucky local community radio host that I owe a favor to. his show's fantastic by the way.
do we have a radio show here in the bases? I think I might start one. making little comments about different things happening around all the bases. is there actually more than one base? I can never know. my department is shifting between so many different places all the time its hard to tell.

Hey zae, can I bring a warded hoodie into the lab? It makes a nice base layer for my containment gear...

EDIT: Oh yeah, grim I can rig a radio and mic set up pretty easily. Do you have anything I could use as an antenna? I doubt a normal radio wave could do much down here...

Grim; i honestly dont know what you're talking about. i know how to create some basic wards, but that doesnt mean im putting up glyphs in every corner of the labs, just so people sleep 15min less.
though i should mention that all food nearby the labs might have been coated with concentrated caffeine...

and Cast, it depends on what kind of ward it is. but im not sure if hoodies are even allowed in here; unless you can get it to fit entirely under you labcoat.

Cast: Go ahead and set it up in substation 16br. You can help set up the equipment too, i'll be adding my own special touches later.
the door is fairly close to the Arcane R&D, just be advised, the room's contents and shape are in a bit of flux. just let a lab tech know and they'l help you solidify it.

zae: im sure you know what you're doing. my body just filters caffeine out now. magic is a great tool.

can anyone tell me why I'm getting a magical contamination warning from your offices?
did someone catch themselves a demon and forget to add them in the permissions?
I thought about sending an intern to investigate, but given both of our department's histories with interns, i thought it would be best for me to come myself.

    Agents Zaelong and Grim-Angel53,

It is possible that the 'arcane incident' which is being referenced is the cause of the contamination warning. As this incident occurred before Agent Zaelong joined Microbiology Lab C, I've added some documents to the shared drive on your terminals on it. Additionally, you can read through the communication logs from the incident. The interesting stuff starts around here.

    Happy Tuesday!
