Has someone been playing with the inside my lab? I've been getting really weird readings on my equipment. I've been noticing it since I got back from being ill, and they seem to be getting weirder. Specifically, in regards to the energy fluctuation caused by the whole multiverse doppelganger thing with MidDipper and Dylanamite. I mean, I guess in theory it's possible these readings are correct but if that's true something seriously weird is going on here.... Well, then again 'something seriously weird' is really the norm around HQ. Um, just in case these readings are legitimate, @MidDipper whenever you're free I think you should pop by my lab. It's probably nothing dangerous, but, uh, it's definitely something I'd like to check out.
Well, I did kind of.... dispose of Differ. It didn't seem to harm Midd although I haven't really seen her in a while. Oh, the murdered deity might have had something to do with it as well. Or the lingering aura of the shock gauntlet. Or just damage from the fire. and the bombing. Honestly I'd be more surprised if they were giving normal readings l
I haven't been leaving my lab much, Treble. I've got a lot of work to do and now that I have a full staff of lab techs again it's easier to just send them out if I need anything from outside the lab. I'll try to take a break sometime soon to stop by and see you Fable. No promises, I am super busy. If you want to stop by Micro C for a spot check or something like that though, my door is open.
Well, before you make the trip out of your lab, I can probably come by and confirm the readings, but if they really are accurate you'll need to come by. Most of the equipment I need to test this isn't exactly portable. I'll come by your lab and make certain it's worth the trip for you and figure out how urgent it is, though. Does that work better, Dipper? Treble, that is fair. Although I doubt the goddess was actually destroyed. Defeated, sure, but often destroying any sort of god-like being is significantly more difficult than tricking them into stabbing themselves. Still, I don't think she'll be a worry for a while. I suppose it is possible Perchta messed with the multiverse shenanigans, but I don't know. Dipper, did you have any strange contact with Perchta? My understanding was you were kinda tied up during most of that debacle.
Works fine for me, Fable. Stop on by whenever. As for the Perchta thing, due to my uh... Predicament at that time, I had no contact with it at all. At one point I did have both Dylans quarantined inside the lab, but she didn't manifest here, and shortly after that I lost contact.
Right, okay so in that case I think we can safely say Perchta has nothing to do with whatever is currently going on with you. Um, so the readings I got definitely confirm what my machines said, something is definitely up and it definitely is doing something to you. I have no idea what is going on, though, I haven't seen this sort of thing before. I know you're busy, but I really think you should stop by my lab when you can. Are you able to leave your work in the hands of your lab techs for a while?
If you think it's serious, I'll go over to your lab right away. Luckily there's nothing too time sensitive going on right now and the techs are all pretty capable.
I mean, I'm not so sure 'serious' is the right word for it, but it is certainly interesting. If you think you can get away now, come by any time. I'm usually around doing one thing or another.
Tests have been ran. I have no idea how it happened, but the energy signatures surrounding Dipper have been altered immensely. They seem to be some sort of echo of the doppelganger feedback loop. You know, the thing that makes the doppelgangers feel each other's pain and all that. If I had to make a guess, I'd say Differ's death has caused some side effects. Dipper, have you noticed anything strange? Any strange feelings or powers? I don't think this is deadly or extremely dangerous, but it will probably be effecting you somehow.

Could someone do me a favor and do some air quality controls at micro-c? I noticed some weird headaches inside, could be nothing but it's worth checking.
I would have been alerted if there were chemical or biological contaminants detected by the air filters.
Could just be your subconscious recognizing the significant increase in the chances of your mortality whenever you step into that lab.
@Treble i hope thats it, but im not sure... some other labtech said the same thing about weird headaches. its the kind of headache you get when prosessing loads, and i litterally mean loads, of data. but when im reviewing the same thing at other locations its not that bad. only at the labs of micro-C. i first thought it might've been some benzene spillings, but that's definitely not the cause
maybe not entirely irrelevant, but i believe it was mentioned Middipper had her alternate self from a paralel universe here? i won't even dare to ask how this had happened, but I am curious to the extent of this effect? especially since her doppel was killed and @Fable mentioned something about an echo of the doppel lingering around Middipper?
