This is a heads up for everyone at HQ, I've been reassigned to act as a curator for the Archive. So to make my job a bit easier I'll be laying down some rules. Do not just take a book or a file without seeing me first. If you are returning something to the archive, take it to my desk. If you wish to add something to the Archive, please submit to me for review first. @dylanamite Please see me before attempting to enter the Archive, last thing I need to happen is you messing something up. Also @MidDipper I'll need you to send me all your past lab reports, as several are either missing or severely burnt.
If we urgently require a file from the archive - say, to avert potential planetary disaster - but you are away / hindered / busy / indisposed / injured / mortally wounded / lying in the eternal abyss which bridges the mortal and immortal planes [delete as applicable], how long are we to wait for you to return before overriding your first rule? Also, considering the amount of agents who regularly remove items of interest from the archives, you may wish to invest in a larger desk.
I'd say 2 hours, as I take about an hour and half lunch break. But if it's that urgent, simply inform me later of what was taken.
Tanton, I can send you some copies of all my data. However, if we're going to store them as physical copies as we tend to, there are some precautions I have to take for certain documents. Do you have any fully intact documents from my lab? There may be some that look like a black plastic folder that's sealed on all four sides, those documents are incredibly sensitive and as such are uh... For lack of a better word, booby trapped. You'll need to stop by Micro C for some inoculations before I can, in good conscience, release those documents to you. The other ones I'll print off and have a lab tech run down to you.
I believe I found a few based on that description, so i'll make sure to stop by your lab at some point. Right now i'm far more busy cleaning up the place.
Luckily none of them were, unluckily for me I found a busted up robot in here. Somehow the damn thing this is trapped under two bookshelfs.
Hm, looks like one of those robots Treble uses, but more.. lethal I guess. Anyways, im done for now, so i'll stop by your lab with the sealed docs.
That's not a reminder you should need. You're smart enough to have stayed out of trouble this long, you'll be fine from here on out most likely. Anyway I've got your shots prepped, I'll just have one of the techs administer them. I'm drowning in work. Once you get the shots it can take about a week for them to be fully effective, but I'll give you the documents right away. They're in a filing box near the front of the lab, I'll tell the tech to direct you to it once you're all set. Best of luck with your Archive organizing!
Neither of those things are present in the Archives. Not sure about the rest of HQ, I don't really venture outside of my lab and the occasional trip to the Archves to file things in person.
@Prisvalde We don't have a lounge specifically for cigars, but the smoking rooms are 41, 107 and 299b. Not to be confused with that one quarantined section of the labs which appears to be filled with billowing plumes of flameless smoke. Anyone know what that's about? On topic, @Operator I stopped by earlier to return a casefile I borrowed before you took on the role. You may seriously wish to invest in a larger desk (or see with the Arcane R&D dept about giving your current desk a storage enchantment).
@OmegaSeven, you don't speak Spanish, do you? Anyway the fire is chill. More or less. Don't bother him and he won't bother you. @Prisvalde sorry I missed your message, was in the middle of something. Yes, the fire does identify as male and uses male pronouns. We're good friends. However I appear to have misread @OmegaSeven's message, he was asking about the billowing smoke, which is indeed genderless. My apologies.
In regards to @OmegaSeven, don't worry about my desk, i'm quite the efficient worker. Now Prisvalde, I can understand having your full document redacted but i'll require an un-redacted copy for the archive at some point. Also, @MidDipper please warn me of how many shots i'll be getting next time.
@Operator, in the future please be advised that I wouldn't ask you to come up to the lab if it were less than ten.
Duly noted Dipper. By the way, could you send down one of your lab techs? I found about ten files that I think belong to you.
