A couple quick updates from Micro C that I think needed sharing: I've begun the first round of interviews with prospective lab techs brought to HQ by Recruiting. However, we've lost two of them. I'm not too worried about the first, but the second one had a really impressive resume and had done some research that I found really intriguing. They'll likely stick together, so if you see a couple of young men wandering around(one with red hair, one with brown) looking confused, try to corral them my way. If the redhead happens to get caught in the crossfire of a turret or something I won't be TOO upset but try to keep the other one in mostly one piece, ok? I've recently been informed that one of the coffee machines here at HQ may have been contaminated with an organism we've been working on. It shouldn't have any negative effects for the most part, but if you drink any alcohol while it's in your system then you may experience some... Weirdness. I'm going to be treating this as a sort of double-blind study, as I have no idea who may have been colonized by the organism. If you're worried about side effects, it's best to avoid alcohol for about two weeks. You'll notice that we've started stamping a purple logo on all of the paperwork coming out of the lab. I've decided to start doing this so that it's easier to tell what work came from Micro C, and what work came from other labs. We've been using this marking for a while internally, it's just probably the first time a lot of Agents who don't come into the lab often will have seen it, and I wanted to give an explanation. You'll probably see very little of me, honestly. I tend to stay in my lab and the areas directly surrounding it. You may see some of my lab techs around running errands from time to time.
Oh that reminds me. Never become one of Midd's lab techs. You will die. It doesn't matter how, the universe will figure out some way to screw you over
Just... take my word for it. I moved off base for a reason. Well several reasons. Proximity to the beach being one of them.
Listen, I didn't start losing lab techs at a rapid rate until VERY recently. I don't anticipate it being a problem.
